So...I want an Xbox one specifically for killer instinct. Obviously it's not smart to buy a system for one game. I know I'd get hours and hours out of ki 1 and 2 and the updated ki... Enough to last me for a min. I'm content with that but long term what is there to look forward to if:

In not into shooters
I like RPGs...
I like fighting games
I like platformers

If you want to get an Xbox

Then I say get

-MKX
-killer instinct( season 3 out in March)
- blazblue
- sf4 may be coming to backwards compat
-rare replay, since it's probably the easiest way to get a lot of platformers

As for RPGs

There's Witcher 3, Dragon age( which you can get with ea access), fallout 4 coming in November and elder scrolls online

If you mean Jrpgs or can't live without street fighter 5, then go with a ps4

I think they are selling the COMPLETE game in Sept for 60 or 80. If you have Destiny u can cop the DLC seperate. Jules can confirm tho I don't follow the game as closely now.

BY JORDAN SIRANIDeveloper Hi-Rez Studios announced its third-person action MOBA, Smite, will exit open beta and officially launch on Xbox One August 19.

New players will be able to merge their PC and Xbox accounts until August 31, according to the developer. Account merging adds purchases, favor, and XP from your PC account to that you've earned on your Xbox account. Gems, however, will not be transferred. For more info, be sure to check out the FAQ on the game's site.

The Founder's Pack will also remain available until August 31. For $30 USD, the Founder's Pack includes 400 gems, two exclusive skins, and all present and future playable Gods.
