In terms of enjoyment of playing, I'm well aware of how popular MLG COD has gotten. I still think Halo 2 MLG could take it over.

Some destiny info.

"As Parsons explained to me, players are free to tackle the campaign alone or with two friends. Every mode is played with groups of threes, incidentally – even adversarial multiplayer – as Bungie feels it offers the best balance for the three available classes. Each mission contains both private and public spaces, meaning some areas are dedicated solely to your three-man team, while other areas will be filled with additional players."

So everything will be in threes. I'm not super pumped for it but will probably play it anyway

Is this game going to have anything similiar to team deathmath, capture the flag? You know, your typical CoD, Halo etc. game modes

 The little that I've seen on this game hasn't really made anything clear for me.

I'll be honest I don't follow competitive gaming 

I used to be hardcore into MLG in the golden days.. I thought they died out. I didn't think COD could be played at a competitive level lul.. this is coming from a pub stomper

Getting ready to make the investment but I'm kinda hesitant because of the new Gwen's lackluster library. How is titanfall for those that own it

...and I could've told anyone destiny would suck. Just gimme Halo or resurrect Gears

Honestly I'd wait a year to get one. No game is a System seller IMO

It doesn't look like that type of FPS. It looks more like a borderlands / fallout type fps.

Combo of E3 last year, what dropped today, and all the random dudes who posted the content they were able to produce.

Good point though, that all may be campaign and separate from a form of PvP online multiplayer.

It just seems like the multiplayer is so heavily focused on the co-op PvE that there wont be a PvP like other games of this nature.

This of course is all speculation based on the limited amount of info bungie is teasing us with

I would hold off on buying an xbox one for a while

Yeah. I've been reading up on Destiny because I was hoping for the Xbox to have a great exclusive to pull me in but nothing really stood out with that game. Been hearing decent things about titanfall though. Definitely want to still get an Xbox one but if there isn't anything that great I guess I'll just get a new MacBook Pro instead

It all depends on what you're into.

IMO titanfall is great, PvZ is really fun w/ friends, DR3 is great, KI is one of the best fighting games i've played, I've heard Ryse is cool, Forza is dope if you're into racing games, etc.

But i've noticed a lot of NTers in this thread don't like a lot of the already out exclusives.

Idk.. if you're into gaming, you'll have a great time.

If you're not into gaming that much, you'll more than likely see it as a huge waste of money.

But if you wait and cop the console for cheap next year, you might be a little more satisfied.

I think it's similiar to the deal M$ has with Activision in regards to CoD, PS users get early access to beta and future DLC

PS4 owner get exclusive content. Doesn't sound like it will be anything major though
