I believe you can download them a few hours before but it won't be playable until midnight. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, should have said a WD Media player WITH a 2 TB hard-drive attached. This is the media player I had. I suggest staying away from it.

I had the plus version of that. I didn't experience too much freezing, but the remote and options kind of sucked.
The newest version is great. I've had it for a 1+ years.
The only bad thing is that it doesn't have an off button.
It's like the old versions where you're required to unplug it to actually turn it off.
Otherwise it'll get hot, though it's "off."
It works great as a streamer as well.

This device doesn't need to interact with your xb1.
You just hook it up to your tv, then you're set.

The xb1 MAY be able to do what the wd tv live does in time, but it will most likely not be as good as a dedicated media player.
Such as how your phone is good for internet browsing, but your comp is much better for internet browsing.

I highly doubt that there's going to be another company that's going to release a media player that's as good as WD's.
I had hoped Amazon's media player would be better than WD's, but it doesn't support much.
In the games department, it's miles better than WD's media player.

Played Watch_Dogs for about an hour. Pretty fun so far. Soooooo many things to do. I like that you get to choose different techniques that you want to unlock for hacking, shooting, driving.
Driving is a little hard, feels weird but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

plus it's a UBISoft game so the price will plummet. AC series, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, etc. prices dropped within months of release.
