I like the destiny beta. Don't feel like Memphis tho talking about considering not even buying the collection.. Collection will be copped, but destiny should provide quality entertainment even if it's only the pve part of the game.

I'm loving Destiny... but for the first time i'm looking forward to co op more so than the pvp. Reminds me of Phantasy star online, I can't wait to team up and play with folks cause all of my team members just been silent smh.
The PVP is fun, and after two games i wasnt' getting washed anymore, actually top place in my last 4 games last night......but its no Halo MP.
Will still be buying destiny and Collection this fall.

If you think that Destiny co-op will have you hooked then I can understand skipping Halo for it's PvP but I as a standalone PvP shooter, I don't think Destiny has enough to keep me interested for long, at least not from what the beta is offering.

Of course it's just the beta but I played 3-4 games of MP and I was just about done. It's just slower cod with halo grenades and the occasional use of powers.

Folks that are talking about how MP did not intrigue them aren't realizing that they are JUST playing the "capture" mode aspect of MP. I'm sure the PVP will be much more bolstered in final build of the game along with the variability of MP modes. The whole I'll get Destiny thing but I might not get the Halo: MCC also does not make sense to me. Halo at this point of its lifespan is more of a sentimental thing than it is just a regular average joe type game. I feel like majority of folks copping MCC will be doing so for MP and even campaign, along with the updated graphics, but the foundation of the drive in which many of us will purchase MCC has nostalgic reasoning to it because it was such an impactful game of our generation. The comparisons kinda gotta chill fam.

My biggest beef w/ Destiny is the lack of split-screen MP. I love playing games, but rarely play them without friends. I don't want to have to play over XBL just to play with my friends. It might seem stupid, but that's why Halo is still my go to FPS. Me and the boys can hop on a single Xbox and do work online. I'm very excited for MCC and am still not sure if I'll pick up Destiny.

CYDONIA OR SHINGEN AUTO RIFLE PRETTY MUCH DOMINATE EVERYTHING ELSE IN MULTIPLAYER.
THE GOLDEN GUN IS THE HUNTER'S SPECIAL. PRETTY MUCH THE BEST SUPER IMO BECAUSE OF IT'S RANGE.

Destiny and Halo will both be copped. Had a blast with the beta, I guess I see why some people don't like it but I'll be jamming on this co-op with my buddies quite a bit.

I realize this is just a beta so I will temper my feels for now but I don't think this is going to be the next great game. It's like halo but halo does halo better, it's like boarderlands but not as good, it's like mass effect but not in the same class. I realize that it is a first to have all of them lumped into one game but what good is it to combine all these styles if you don't do any of them exceptionally well just my thoughts so far I will probably cop but not a must day one for me

I have a few friends that really don't fool with halo. they aren't fanboys either. its just a personal preference just like some of the older halo players don't like anything after halo 2 or 3.

Carver you know it's not just Destiny.
That's just how it is.
And I think Destiny is cool but it's not the greatest thing ever. But this is nothing new.
