I'm calling bull....

The last time I saw something like that, Bestbuy needed your 360 to be in a specific condition and come with pretty much everything.

It's on slickdeals. People are claiming they were successful, I don't have a slim model though so I guess it varies.

Yeah, I'll pass on that. That's too good to be true. Basically asking you to go buy used ones and trading them in for double the money

Saw this on Gaf. Seems to possibly be Destiny's game layout

From Bungie.net and Destinydb

All right guys, I have been waiting to post this, but last night DeeJ confirmed, that there will be 1 explorable location per planet and this basically also confirmed, that the following source is realible:

http://destinydb.info/activities

I browsed this website a lot and realized how endgame content is going to work. To sum it up:

Before you read on: this may or may not be how the final product is going to look like. It is just a speculation based on the website mentioned above. I do not want to convince you about anything, but I'm sure if you browse that site you will come to a similar conclusion.

Beware, this may contain spoilers!!!

- 4 explorable locations (Earth, Moon, Mars, Venus)
- 6 strikes (1 Earth, 1 Moon, 2 Mars, 2 Venus. However one of the Mars strike is PS exclusive.)
- 1 raid (The Vault of Glass)
- 16 pvp maps

It's already been told, that we are going to hit lvl 20 quickly. So what happens after this?

We are going to have the possibility to run a random strike (accessible from the orbit) on a higher level:
-lvl18
-lvl20
-lvl22
-lvl24

For example the Devil's Lair is going to be there on those difficulties.

But how can you achieve a level over 20? It is well documented, that you can get to lvl 20 by collecting XP. In order to gain additional levels, you need to obtain gear with "light stat" . Light gives you additional level.

So, what you are going to do, when you hit 20? You will go to lvl 20 strikes to get gear with light. I suspect, that the strikes and rewards will be scaled, so that you have to spend a lot of time on a level in order to get access to the next one.

What happens, when you hit lvl 24 and finished farming all the high level strikes? You go to weekly strikes

This means, that every week there is going to be a strike on an even higher level.
-lvl24
-lvl26
-lvl28

For example Devil's Lair is going to be this strike from 09.sept. - 16.sept. And so on. This mode is called: Nightfall

After you cleared all the weekly strikes you go to the Vault of Glass. It will be on lvl27, lvl31 and lvl31.

EDIT:

I also found something called "Activity Power" associated to every activity on that website. I think it's the true scale of difficulty of each activity. For example:

lvl 8 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 0,37
lvl 20 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 8
lvl 24 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 53
lvl 28 - Devil's Lair = Activity Power 98
lvl 31 - Vault of Glass = Activity Power 132

This will take time Guardians![?spoiler]

 and pizzo ain't getting it at launch either.

[emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] NHL has my love although I am starting to feel this game a lot more no lie

Come Sept 9 prolly will cop both. I went ahead of myself before I really actually got to dissect the Multiplayer. I'm not huge fan of domination but I do believe the other modes will be pretty good.

didn't have a good experience with the destiny beta. will still buy.

1. I hate domination. im a tdm kind of guy. I know beggars cant be choosers so I def just played just to play.
2. some of the weapons are really OD. I only got to a level 7 but it seemed like level 8 dudes were packing the death guns. makes me worried about competitive play when retail comes out. the disparity between weapons available to different levels is discouraging.
3. whats with the weapon that shows a half circle icon? a team just kept using it on us... killing us at the points with 1 hit "{
4. Microsoft party system struck again on Saturday. Lord knows how this issue exists on the 3rd xbox but not the other 2. couldn't play with friends most of Saturday. really, really tragic.

I like that weapons aren't on the map so people sit around them to protect them like a halo or gears.

All I need is a swat or regicide type mode and I'll be happy with destiny. Maybe even a snipers, worse case if they don't fix the OP weapons and vehicles the coop will be deep enough to keep us occupied. I think they will nerf stuff tho that's what the beta was for

Yeah bungie said they will be nerfing the interceptor on the moon map. Gonna give lower the fire rate on it and increase the time in between shots I believe so people aren't just spamming them

More confirmation that retail copy of Destiny will be pure greatness. This post is from a Bungie rep: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=122942974&postcount=2709. Sad that the beta is over I'm having withdrawals and I don't feel like being productive right now smh.
That post got me even more excited. August is gonna be a long month. Now I gotta figure out if its X1 or PS4
