Completely forgot I had a 1TB external I was using as a network drive, before I upgraded. Just plugged that into my One and transferred everything over.

Hey has anyone ever gotten a notice from MS where you had to change your password.

I recently got one and they said someone was trying to access my account and then when I went to recover it I had to answer a couple of simple questions that anyone that knows me could have answered.

Anyway they said someone else was accessing and using my account or something and I had to change my login and whatnot.

Can I ask what your gamertag is? I sell gamertags and have only had that happen on some of my higher valued accounts.

Only the usual idiots trying to reset my password though, no actual access to my account(s). Chances are someone is targeting your account either because of the gamertag, its tenure (the number next to your GT indicating how long you've had Xbox Live for) or its gamerscore.

If someone is accessing your account it should give you an email saying "suspicious activity" along with the IP address used to sign in to your account.

You can geolocate that IP address to find out a general location of the hacker, assuming he isn't on a VPN and masking his IP.

You should also go to your settings on the xbox website and find out which consoles are linked to your account. If someone downloaded your profile onto their console it will say their serial number.

To geolocate the IP address just use this website, fill in the IP address and click check. It will show the general location as detailed as a city/town.

 I sell gamertags
Why would anybody buy a gt? Whats a gt cost?
You would be surprised. Certain OG Tags (One word tags of specific words like Sniper, Legend, Master, etc etc) go for hundreds.

Also depending on what kinds of games you play and what you've done in them you can sell it too, same like WoW. Someones offered me $400 for my tag if I remember right cause of the Halo ranks

People are thirsty for original 1 word gamertags. Highest I've personally sold was Sorcery for $250 but I know people who have sold sold gamertags in the $1000 range (example: Bentley) as well as over $1500 (example: Bang).

My gamertag is: Never Had Much

And this was the e-mail I got from MS -

Microsoft account
Security alert
We think that someone else might have accessed the Microsoft account xxxxxxxxx@aol.com. When this happens, we require you to verify your identity with a security challenge and then change your password the next time you sign in.
If someone else has access to your account, they have your password and might be trying to access your personal information or send junk email.
If you haven't already recovered your account, we can help you do it now.

I wonder what OG niketalk accounts go for? It seems there's an idiot born everyday that'll pay for something that doesn't matter.

There's a market for a lot of things you'd be suprised about. I've made $1600 from twitchtv accounts just the past few months.

I've also sold snapchats, instagrams, ...

People have too much money on their hands I suppose. I'd never spend money on any sort of username.

I'm just in it for the money. It's like a hustle without hurting anyone, assuming the accounts aren't stolen from active users.

I suggest a few of your give Warframe a chance, especially if it is FTP.

It's not for everyone, and is very, very nuanced in it's menus, but it's pretty fun.

Aiming to get Destiny and Shadow of Mordor (depending on the reviews). On the bubble with Forza, I just got Madden and Diablo so I'm trying to not go too crazy on buying games especially with fall coming.

 On the bubble with Forza,
  1. Over 200 cars
  2. 100+ hours completion time
  3. 150+ mainly new songs
  4. The game is social even when you're not online
  5. Your friends' drivatars populate your game instead of standard computer AI

Diablo 3 is fun as hell.

Is there a reason why it took so long for the franchise to make it's console debut?

Diablo, wow, dota, C&C, Civ, etc, popular pc games.

With these new consoles it's possible fore these franchises to make their console debut correct?

I've wanted to check out Wow since high school, but I feel like some of these popular pc games need to make their console debut, before I decide to delve into the pc gaming world.

I mean, diablo 3 came out 2 years ago on pc and 1 year later on console. so it wasn't a really long time. As for rts games. there have been plenty of them, even halo wars. they just don't sell enough to make it worthwhile

and stuff like Moba's or WoW, have too many commands that can't be mapped to a controller. You can have a lot of stuff on a keyboard for wow, but only like 5-6 buttons on a controller. You need games that are more console friendly.

ex. smite. Much more intuitive

also consoles just aren't large enough /attract the kind of people that play these games. Not trying to stereotype gamers, but if you watch LoL or dots tourneys or stuff on twitch, they aren't really the same gamer who wants a console

Does every new game you put in Xbox1 have to be installed **** is clogging up space :x
Whats the point of having the CD then??? ....

Yup both consoles you need to install to HD unfortunately.. The point of having the disc I guess is to resell and save you time so you don't have to download them

the cd is essentially the license to play the game, sorta like if you buy PC games at retail.

Plus, running games off the hard rive is less taxing than using the optical drive to run games.

Smite looks cool. I'm putting that on my wish list.

Thanks for the info.

You can purchase an external hard drive for a reasonable price. You can play the games from the external or you can save your most played games on your internal. Then save the rest on the external

Some options would be a 1tb portable external or a 3tb ac powered external.

The point of the cd not have to download the game, you're able to resell it, or let your friend borrow it.

I played WoW during BC ,quit, then came back for cata. So much had change but the end game was still fun as hell. People argue that it is not as hard as it use to be and that is partially true but for the most part I would still try it out. Some of those bosses tho :x

Play on Illidan btw...
