Man.... I know Halo has a cult following in here and I'm just another voice...

But the memories of college flood back watching that. 

I would not be surprised if MCC is the best selling game this fall. How there is no bundle is beyond me. Is there still time to have one announced? Not a ton of pre-order time, especially with the software we'll see starting next week.

So Halo 2 Anniversary is going to look great. What is the OG Halo 2 going to look like? I know damn well they aren't going to throw on the X1 with OG Xbox graphics

I know this is probably a dumb question but I haven't been following this game too much.

Isn't that exactly what they did with Halo:CE anniversary? You could switch between HD and original graphics on the fly.

Same here. I've been trying to talk all my friends into grabbing it but I don't think they're gonna go for it over COD. Even if they do end up buying it I can see them hating it since the learning curve is ALOT different than other shooters. I gotta add you on my new GT.

I actually played with all NTers way back when H2 and H3 originally came out for this exact reason .

I know this is probably a dumb question but I haven't been following this game too much.

The go halo 2 will be in 1080p and 60fps. It will look like an 360 game or the pc version of halo 2 running on high settings. essentially with a nice framerate. But they really want you to be playing the anniversary edition of the game

halo 1 was already remastered in 2011 and halo 3 holds up fairly well as is, so giving it higher resolution and a better framerate will do wonders. Halo 4 will probably look the best next to 2 anniversary, since halo 4 already looked great. Smoothing out those frame rate issues will make it look even better

Ok so if they all get 1080p 60fps updates, then what is the difference between Halo 2 OG v Halo 2 Anni? I was under the impression that both would be available. Or is it like Swendro said, you can switch between OG and Anni graphics?

they are both available. during the campaign you can switch back and forth and for multiplayer, you can choose to play either anniversary or normal halo 2

wow, I went 3-12 in my first match of pilot skirmish we played on the war games map. It was a little too big and the pilots blended in too much since everything was mostly gray

people aren't hyping the original halo 2. Anniversary is basically halo 4.5 graphics wise

The MCC is the perfect package for Halo fans.

I remember sniping in gears 2. Most people who picked up the sniper would just corner snipe once one dude got hit he was too shook to move out and try to snipe again those were some great times on gears man

Halo 2 could have been 30fps I'd still cop and be hyped anniversary can look better but I'll still not play it.. I'll be on og2 and ce oh and 3.. Like swendro I'd go ham on socom too. My sister's old boyfriend put me on that, dude was a beast but a bum irl lulz
