Destiny was the same way :smh:

Must be up to the publishers to decide

Forza Horizon 2 and NBA 2k15 were both 12AM Eastern.

^ Yeah I was hoping that midnight EST was the new norm but I think you're right and the publisher decides. I don't understand the reasoning, it doesn't make sense to me. There's still physical copy midnight launches on the East Coast so if they're doing it to keep it "fair" that argument doesn't work. I guess for the casual player it doesn't really matter but for the hundreds of thousands of East Coasters who wanna play it at midnight the digital pre-order loses all of its convenience . Looks like I'm lining up at Gamestop at 11:45 with all of the disgusting smelly gamers :x.

Man, I have no idea how I'm going to find time for all these games :frown:

Destiny still has legs for the moment
Madden, 2K and FIFA will all be in rotation
Halo Collection
COD
FH2
GTAV
AC: Unity

Wrong thread but I still need to beat Last of Us.

Not to mention keeping with the NFL and NBA seasons and all these fall shows :smh

I'd reccomend checking out howlongtobeat.com. That'll help you prioritize your game time. I think you can knock out tlou easily, if you only play that for about a week.

In all honesty, i highly doubt activision gives any thought whatsoever to how an east coast player (or any time zone for that matter) feels about a digital pre-order launch.

Cuz at the end of the day, 3AM for digital vs. 12AM for physical or what ever the situation is for what ever time zone, it isnt going to negatively effect their sales, which is the only thing publishers care about :smh:

I'm a huge AC fan... but i'd wait on buying it. With all those other games, you'll be so occupied, by the time you're ready to give AC a whirl, it'll have a price drop.

Yeah good point on AC. I'll end up slowing down on Madden after I wrap up my 2nd year of CFM and I may just skip COD if it's more of the same but I at least have to check it out.

Good looks on that website iYen iYen , I'll check it out.

Have u seen the CoD AW gameplay?

Its a lot different.

Just thrusting, gliding, etc.... changes everything IMO.

Its added a verticality cod has yet to have in their game.

As a huge CoD fan who was pretty let down by ghosts, I'm extremely pumped for this game to revive the community.

I think this CoD is going to make or brake the franchise.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/10...-day-multiplayer-playlists-revealed-ign-first

The Xbox Live playlists each Halo game supports is always a critical thing to Halo fans. The playlists go a long way towards influencing how players spend their time in the ranked environment. Popular gametypes can bubble up as their own playlists (Shotty Snipers! Team Snipers! Grifball!), and bad ones can go away and be replaced by something more interesting. It’s especially critical with The Master Chief Collection, as the developers at 343 Industries have to juggle what the community wants across not one but four Halo games. You can’t have too many playlists without spreading players too thin, but you also need enough to satisfy everyone’s individual game and gametype preferences. Without further delay, here are 343’s launch-day playlists for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Team Halo 2: Anniversary
Play a mix of Team Slayer and objective game types on re-mastered maps. 4v4.

Halo 2: Anniversary Rumble
Challenge seven other opponents on re-mastered maps. This is your fight and yours alone. 8-player Free-For-All.

Team Halo 2: Anniversary Social
Play with a team in unranked Team Slayer and objective game types on re-mastered maps. 5v5.

Team Slayer
Eliminate the enemy team across four Halo games: Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 2: Anniversary. Nothing but Team Slayer, 24/7. 4v4.

Big Team Battle
Battle it out in 16-player warfare with vehicles across Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo 2: Anniversary. 8v8.

Halo: Combat Evolved
The game that started it all. Play a mix of Slayer and objective game types in Halo: Combat Evolved for the first time on Xbox Live. 4v4.

Halo 2 Classic
It’s back. A mix of the most popular Team Slayer and objective game types from the original Halo 2. 4v4.

Halo 3
A selection of fan-favorite Team Slayer and objective game types from Halo 3. 4v4.

Halo 4
A mix of Team Slayer and objective game types from Halo 4, on a selection of small to medium-sized maps. 5v5.

Team Hardcore
A collection of tournament-approved game types from Halo 2 and Halo 3. The Battle Rifle is your primary weapon. 4v4.

Halo eSports
The official Halo eSports playlist. 4v4.

SWAT (Rotational)
Aim for the head! A collection of SWAT game types on our favorite maps from Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo 2: Anniversary. Players have no shields and are equipped with rifles. 4v4.

Weighed in on a few things in the Halo thread already but I'll repost.

-Halo 4 not in Team Slayer
-Team Hardcore Playlist
-eSports Playlist( Hate the name eSports)
-Way more Ranked playlists than social ones

Its like they started paying attention to what people were saying. I might shed a tear. The only puzzling thing is that theres no Team Doubles playlist. It was a pretty popular playlist in every game it was in, but I didnt play it all that much so IDC.

eSports will probably push H2A more than anything but whatever, now we just need to see gametypes in these playlists.

Team Hardcore: Tournament approved gametypes, I wonder if that means that Amplified and Onslaught are coming back?

I'm so excited and have so many questions. I really can not wait now.

Halo 2 and 3 being lumped into team Hardcore is going to be a problem for people being that those two games don't play the same at all with most people hating H3, but I loved it so I'm all good.

I feel like the eSports playlist will only contain Halo 2 Anniversary gametypes, being that theyre trying to push it as the feature game of MCC. Team Hardcore will contain a fair amount of maps but not all of them, especially in H3. Stuff that was in the Bungie Halo 3 Team Hardcore playlist probably wont be in this one like Isolation or Construct Oddball.

What I'm really curious about is if theyre going to use the H3 MLG settings over what tradition Team Hardcore was. Cause H3 team hardcore didnt have increased speed, damage, or jump height, and a lot of the maps were untouched. MLG did a way better job of making a hardcore playlist than Bungie did.

Yall need to stop hating on halo 4. Every now and then playing the mp is fun. Plus itll probably look amazing.

But because of yall haters its not kncluded in the main list and will probably be DOA

Halo 4 is terrible and by far the worst Halo game. It has no place in this collection, its not even a part of the first trilogy, 343 just wants to peddle their monstrosity to the masses. Its not fun at all TBH, its not fun to statwhore, its not fun to play competitively, its all around terrible.

Guess you could say Halo 4 was...hawlo.

So. Don't. Play. It.

Nah man its unquestionably the worst Halo game. If you've asked anyone whos played all 5 games what the worst one is, they would say its 4. Every once in a while I try and play it and its unbearable in any format outside of BTB and even that is below average.

I wont be by choice. I have no reason to when I'll be able to play 3 much much better games. If I had it my way Halo 4 wouldnt have been included in any mulitgame playlist or on the disc at all.

ADS, sprint on every loadout, random gun drops, and other mechanics from casual FPS games....

Halo 4 detached itself from what made it so great and loveable by trying to fit in with the progression of popular FPS games.

Lots of people love halo 4 and dont care to even notice those changes, but the halo purists haaaate it.

Its like when Nike/JB Retro a shoe or create some monster hybrid.... Kids love it and the older, more seasoned people typically dont.

IMO 343 should have stuck to the basics rather than making halo play more like call of duty meets battlefied meets sci-fi.

But I also cant blame them. CoD took an overwhelmingly huge lead of popularity around 2008... makes sense that 343 would have tried to use similar game mechanics... just pissed a lot of loyal fans off.

SMH there is a Halo X1 bundle but it probably won't drop in the US. Like the Left 4 Dead Ps4 bundle. Why do they do that?

Im sure there will be some kinda US Halo bundle. B

But maybe they figure since US is the main Halo market anyway they don't need to make special offers
If there was once announced it would have been announced already. COD and Sunset bundles been announced. I doubt it's happening.
