The drm changes took place before the console was even released so I don't get how sales changed that. Software updates to the UI is to be expected with mass usage and input. Also most of the "updates" were announced back when the console dropped.

Only thing I get is the price drops for the systems. Thing is that doesn't do much good for us who have it already.
You asked me what 180s they did and I said that the drm policy changes as well as selling the x1 seperatly so early on when I felt that MS (both act as selling points because the drm changes was one of the biggest problems for the x1) really wanted to push kinect as a part of the Xbox experience. And you are right about the software updates i didn't know that most of them were announced before the release

I got Diablo, got it the same time as Destiny so I've put not too much burn on it. It's fun, but I haven't really wanted to go back to it in a minute.

games like Diablo have never been my cup of tea but i would try it out for $20 since I was curious about it

Maybe a few of you in here can help me out. I was on amazon just looking through possible games to get, and I stumbled upon the new Turtle Beach wireless headphones. At $230 I began to research...because I don't get it.

I understand games like Halo and COD have tournaments and competitions...but what is the benefit of these super expensive headphones?

You can hear sound better...what benefit does it have to your actual gaming and performance? What makes them worth that much in relation to effect on gaming?
Hearing sound better is the benefit. If seeing whats going on is a 10 out of 10 in terms of importance hearing is a 7. It expounds on your awareness, you hear things that you would never hear( you hear the footsteps, where the shots are coming from, where the nades are coming from, in the case of Halo you hear when people are going up the lifts/off the man cannons, when weapons and powerups spawn) if you were just playing a game through your TV unless you turn the TV up to a level of annoyance.

I would never spend money on Astros, but Turtle Beaches were cheap for 360 and you can just buy an adaptor to use 360 headsets on XB1. Thats what I'm doing. I wouldnt say you absolutely need one either, cause I've played without mine but its sure better to play with one.

I'm playing some Halo 3 right now for the first time in YEARS... I'm trash . For some reason every 3rd-5th BR shot doesn't register though :\. I'm 99.9% sure it's not my timing. That's engrained into my memory .

Might jump on it at that 29.99 price tag.. Anyone else got it in here

Love the game. I have both III and the next-gen version with the DLC included.

If you like dungeon crawlers, I think $29.99 is a great price. If you can get Reaper of Souls for that price though, I'd suggest it.

Honestly, it seems like a prime target for a hefty markdown come Black Friday. Might be worth waiting.

I have it for the 360. The gameplay is addicting/fun. Try out the demo, if you still have a 360.
I can hear all that with my $26 noise cancelling earbuds brah.

Amazon product ASIN B0011TS8LM
That doenst come with a mic attached and overears>earbuds. Earbuds are uncomfortable as hell. But if those work cant knock it.

Same here.

But I bought it for PC when it first came out.

Still playin :pimp:

For headphones, I would HIGHLY recommend you just spending the money on some Astro A40s. Great sound quality, works for PC as well. You can connect another device to it while you game and listen to music too. Super comfortable. Can play for days with them on.

I got mine refurbished for less than $200.

There's a mic version, which is the one I use. People can hear my Barry White voice just fine.

I'm the complete opposite. Headsets get uncomfortable after 5min. It's like a tiny weight on your head to me.

Of course Turtle Beach is a good option. I had a set of X11's for my 360 that I bought for like $45. It worked fine. Sound quality is meh, not really any bass, and there was good amount of hissing/static that my party often complained about but they worked.

Will be copping my Xbox One next week. Cant beat that 350 price with a game. Microsoft wants my $$$ and they shall have it.

A50s are underwhelming, A40s are some of the best headphones you can get for the money.
I've got both and still use my 5 year old pair of A40s.

SO is the thing on yahoo true? Xbox ONE will be $350 at the microsoft store and if you do the old 360 trade in you can get it for $250? if so your boy about to cop one
