I'm with you..

Gears and halo are apples and oranges but i happen to like gears more than halo.
With the exception of a few RPGs, this was my reason for owning a 360. Only game that I actually bought map packs for. If they eff up a Gears collection, I'm going to feel some sort of way about my One.

Unless something comes out of nowhere and surprises me :nerd:

i feel like 343 is trying to implement more ways to feel like an actual Spartan if you ask me. the MP does feel like halo but i feel they are really trying to make you feel like a true war machine that spartans are known for. its not necessarily a bad thing but i respect the direction they are bringing to their own halo. some are gonna like it and some are deff gonna hate it

Streaming out the box is wonky. I have the computer already and just need a web cam and cap card.

You're right though. I should start using the Xbox stuff and a monitor first.

Just starting up a new hobby

I recommend an elgato hd60 for a capture card

Install OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)

Pepper - for da angus

Webcam - Logitech c920

Mic - Blue Yeti

And graphics for an overlay to go with the webcam / show your stream name / etc

here's an example of what my stream typically looks like while im live:

EDIT: And of course, the set up that makes all this happen:

Da pepper is already on tap :pimp:

If I run windows using boot camp on my Mac I assum this'll all still work correct?

So far I'm not liking Halo 5.

-The AR is a bit overpowered but the SMG is really overpowered now lol and allowing them to scope is worse.
-I don't like the sprinting melee which I think does more damage than a typical regular melee.
-The ground pound is silly.
-Being able to thrust and sprint at the same time is weak. It should be one or the other.
-The intro theme in the beginning and end is ridiculous, out of all the additional features they put that?
-The BR and DMR should be a bit more even with the same size reticule.
-I hate how it tells you when the power weapons will appear now, because I got teammates just sitting there waiting for it to spawn.
-The game is a bit more COD friendly so I can see former COD players enjoying this game.

I got destroyed my first game, my KD is so bad right now, I hope it doesn't save for the main game. I'll give the game some more chances, it's likely I just don't like the map. I've always enjoyed "Out-BRing/Out-DMRing" people but in this game, it's not the case anymore. It's all about spraying people with bullets.

I has a mac but i just prefer to use windows for it cuz my PC is custom built and is much much MUCH more powerful than my mac.

So if your mac has the CPU necessary to stream, go for it.

I have a 2011 macbook pro w/ 8gb ram, 2.3ghz i5, etc but I use it 8hrs a day at work so when I stream its a nice change in scenery to use my windwos machine at home

Yep the same problems I have. You can a run a whole game with an AR and SMG and do fine for the most part. I've been doing great in this game so far tho

I also hate the announcer and all the in game chatter it does get a little annoying for me

You need a pretty beast computer to run the cap card right? I wanted to get into streaming and YouTube vids with editing but I hear you need a beast PC. I just wanted to walk in the store and buy a PC

Yes and no.

Here are the minimum requirements

http://help.elgato.com/customer/por...-computer-need-to-use-elgato-game-capture-hd-

Bare in mind... My set up is 16GB Ram, 4th gen i5 processor running at >3ghz, solid state SSD w/ extra 2tb storage, etc.

Difference between my PC and a PC off the shelf is mine was probably cheaper cuz i had it built from scratch and only paid for the parts.

Also, elgato's posted system requirements are for the minimum... im sure rendering and making edits on files that are hundreds and hundreds of Megabytes will take a while to process at those specs.

But most PC's out now far exceed those minimum specs. I wouldnt even want to touch a computer that has less than 8GB of RAM tbh.. but i work in the tech industry.

Any NTers streaming some H5 at da moment :nerd:

I am hoping to stream it tonight at 6:30PM PST...

My angus isnt peppered :smh:

Stream was a little choppy for me.

Will watch when I get home in 30 or so min :pimp:.

Hit you with a follow anywho :pimp:

ok I was looking to build my own CPU a while back but didn't want to mess it up and be pissed at all the money I spent. I might just have to give it a shot. I don't like streaming from the x1 or ps4, I feel the only way to do it, is with a cap card :pimp:
