The campaigns work. That's  40 hrs of gameplay.

Of course MCC has that value when it has 4 campaigns in it from 4 other games that weren't nearly as broken

The campaign is perfectly fine, especially if you're a fan of first halo; you won't feel like you're missing out if online doesn't work.

Ehh, game crashing, textures not loading, sounds not synced at times, achievements not working, maps not loading, checkpoints not activating to advance....... Sounds fine to me

The one mildly positive thing about MM being down is that I took the time to beat all the campaigns again. H3s was the only one I played more than once before

Story Wise CE/2 are the best, then 3, and 4

Difficulty wise it runs the same. Halo 4s campaign on Legendary is a joke I didnt even die 100 times, played CEs and died almost 600 times and the story is the worst of them all even including Reach and ODST

I've experienced none of those problems.

I've heard of the campaign issues that others have experienced but all of my problems with the game have been on the MP side.

I'd say out of the big 3 of FPS MP shooters (CoD, BF, and Halo), Halo has by far the best story. 

I still stand by Halo 4 having the best story out of the bunch

Exactly. Guess we all forgot all halo 1-4 can be bought for like 5 bucks each if you just want the SP

It depends on the CoD imo I liked what Treyarch did with WaW and Blops and how they all tied together. Halo is just I think 4 had a lot more going for it with Chief and Cortana. And BF had the worst ones except Bad Company I loved how it never took itself seriously and the humor in it although Bad Company 2 was much more serious than the first

I enjoyed CoD 4 and W@W, but after that CoDs campaigns went down hill IMO. God I hope the next CoD is W@W2 that would be ideal

Yes im pretty sure someone mentioned treyarch's cod for this year going back to WW2 and I'm happy because I'm getting tired of the futuristic stuff

Got cod aw and still haven't put a minute of game time in been playing mygm in 2k. Need to get my nba fix in while the season is underway and it's the only way I can get the twolves to win.

Haven't played the new cod to judge it. Just haven't been in the mood to play tbh

I was not denying that said campaign issues have happened. Your claim is exaggerated in the sense that said issues are as wide spread as the mp issues.

Campaign problems have been addressed pretty much every patch. I'm pretty sure they're "widespread". Majority of people only complain about the MP because that's all they bought the game for

I was not denying that said campaign issues have happened. Your claim is exaggerated in the sense that said issues are as wide spread as the mp issues.

I don't own the game but everyone that I know that purchased it complained about the problems with both the campaign and mp.  Very small sample size of about 5 people but it definitely makes me think the problem is widespread when everyone is complaining of the same thing.
