only problem I had with BL1 is that by the end (when you've gotten a lot of good guns and are leveled), you're just a straight up killing machine and the game becomes a bit mind-less. Super fun at the beginning tho.

for sure, but I dont like how it came down to you just having to wait it out to kill someone while they couldnt hurt you. Or just retreating and aiming at their head.

A lot of stuff got pushed back from 2014 to 2015. That didn't help.

2015 should mark the winding down of remasters and uptick of new games.

Honestly, there are few remasters that justify a release.

MCC and BLC are the only remeasters that I feel deserve to swim in nextgen waters.

I view all the other remasters as bigger cash grabs than mcc/blc.

And the remastered games I bought were ones I never played, minus the MCC and soon to be RE. I never got to play TLOU, never tried BL, never played GTAV.

Remasters are great for people who didn't play them on the previous gen. It probably takes them a few months to do a remaster. Some of yall act like Halo 5, Borderlands 3 etc. was sacrificed in favor of a collection. I think most of these remasters are obviously cash grabs but also something to introduce new fans to a series before the next entry drops. That said MS needs to go ahead and bless us all with that Gears of War Collection

What exactly is State of Decay about? Is it just a strategic survival game? Is there a story mode or is it just free roam? I watched the beta build on YT and it looks like fun if you have people to play with.

I don't get that point(didn't play them on last gen). Last gen consoles can be had for $100-$150. The word remaster this gen so far means convenience.

I'm not talking about remaster from that perspective(remasters taking away from new ips). My perspective is that remaster has lost it's last gen meaning. Last gen a remaster meant something more substantial.

I'm not mad at remasters, but let's just call some of these remasters for what they really are.

Borderlands Collection. The convenience edition.

Devil may cry. The convenience edition.

...

Remasters like RE and MCC, live up to last gen's definition of a remaster.

GOW collection will be bought by me.

What makes Borderlands worthy of a next gen port and not games like TLOU and GTA?

BLC obviously has more value for the buck. If r* remastered their R* collection from last gen, then it's worthy of a next gen port.

According what a remaster meant last gen.

Remaster last gen meant a collection of old games with updated graphics/features.

Remaster this gen so far means a 1-2 year old game that's been ported to current gen consoles.

This trend is clear.

Tell your bro to go to preferences on his xb1.

From there, you'll see "smartglass connections."

Select "Only from profiles signed in on this xbox." or "don't allow smartglass connections"

the option "from any smartglass device" is the default option.

It's a solid zombie game, u need to get supplies, gather food and supplies for your camp, recruit people for the camp. It's a good buy I enjoyed it on 360. Day 1 purchase for me.

I have no problems with Next Gen ports. Especially since I haven't played most/ finished most of them. The Metro Redux collection is great IMO. And I'm really looking forward to the Dark Souls II port

Yeah next gen ports are fine with me. I mean gaming isn't the only thing I do in life so I miss out on a ton of games. thete are a bunch of RPGs and games that o missed in the later years of the 360 that if love to play and also I never got into kingdom hearts, so of welcome ports of 1.5 & 2.5 before 3 comes out
