Has anyone had an issue with a loose spring in day one controller?

everytime i push down on directional pad you hear a spring go off

Here are my impressions:

PS4 is straight to the point. I love that. I haven't tried using the chat feature yet tho.

XB1 blows you away right out of the box but that gets old quick. Unless you are using voice chat, the experience is pretty cumbersome. I feel like im navigating through a marketing campaign when using the dashboard. its too busy for me.

Having party chat issues tho I know that will change with an update. XB1 launch titles >>> PS4 tho.

I like the simpleness as well with the PS4 UI.. but after a few month or years how long is that list going to be when you have to scroll over 

Well, the PS4 does do voice commands...

But does that list show everything you've played, or just have installed? If it's just installed it won't be too long of a list, at least with a 500 gb hd.

I really want to cop the X1 now but there aren't really any games that interest me at the time. I play most multiplat games on PS. Gears 4 would make me cop instantly, that's all I played on 360 as well as all the exclusive JRPGs. You guys really gave this thread some life and sparked my interest.

The voice commands with the PS is turrrrrrrrrible 

 I stopped even trying to use it.

And I think installed since it has to be in order to play.. and it will reorder them with the most recent played.

I'm one of the few people who liked Windows8 at the start, even use a Lumia before i cracked the screen, still use it for the camera features when i go out of town.  But I know for a fact the majority of us on NT hate(d) windows 8, not just the functionality, but the overall look of the OS.  Now all of a sudden, "I can pin my most used apps and games on my xbox one, its amazing!!" 

Microsoft smart tho, using that design throughout all of their devices.

yea... apple does the same thing. gives users a familiar look and feel. I just never upgraded to windows 8 and don't have any windows devices so the UI isn't native to me.

I think you have to do that when you do the initial set up. I'll see if I find it under settings later.

I know when I use the Xbox On command my tv, cable box, Xbox One and Kinect all come on at the same time.

I like the idea of the Featured Achievements and having a set time to complete them. For the achievement hunters out there, it's a nice addition.

I have a ps4 btw and man they can brag about 1080p (played xbox one @ my friends and there is no difference ) and a stronger hard drive but true ps4 heads just can't accept that they lost this console war .

I miss gears 2 more than anything, that was the game i played online hardcore (was new to xbox live when Gears 1 dropped, didnt even know how to connect half the time

) Gears 3 had the best maps IMO
