pretty much. By that time you should be able to pick up ryse and dr3 for the low. Making them even more worth it
I'm actually hoping to get some sequels to some of the JRPGs M$ had on 360. Blue Dragon and Lost Oddyssey. I've been deployed every other year and will probably deploy again June 2014, so Im looking for a lot of solo games.

Criminally underrated.

Remake FFIV and VI and VII and X and I'm good. And Chrono Trigger and a proper Dragon Warrior. K. Thanks.

IV has been remade a countless amount of times

I would love to see a remake of VI (my fav game of all time) and V, even if it was for the 3DS. I've given up on a remake of VII, never gonna happen. Besides even if they did, people would just find something to complain about.

Lost Odyssey was by far my favorite RPG last gen. Second favorite game. The lack of old school turn based RPG's is sad :frown:

Battlefield 4 PS4 Patch Delayed, China Rising DLC Causing Issues
Broken servers, match ejections, and missing match types still plaguing EA's flagship shooter.
by Mitch Dyer DECEMBER 3, 2013
Battlefield 4 has suffered from numerous issues since launching on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and its problems are only getting worse.

DICE and EA are aware of the concerns, but have delayed a PS4 update that would hopefully solve its faults, which include kicking players from servers, crashing the game application, an absence of Conquest servers, and a nasty one-hit-kill bug. The patch has been "rescheduled for a later date" following additional testing.

Following today's release of the Battlefield Premium downloadable map expansion, China Rising, Battlefield 4 is starting to see new issues across all platforms. PC users may be unable to access the add-on via Origin, as it's restricted due to its wider release date of December 17. Once they're in a match, players may find themselves unexpectedly ejected from the game. On Xbox 360, some users simply can't join China Rising servers at all.

We've contacted EA for additional information about an update to Battlefield 4. Are you experiencing these Battlefield 4 problems?

Man I was so close to picking this up on BF, so glad that I didn't. I think Im just gonna pass on BF 4 altogether now, this is just ridiculous. Instead of trying to dethrone CoD they should have focused on putting out a complete and unbroken game

Although I prefer turn based RPGs, my favorite was Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Lost Oddyssey was definitely one of my favs from last gen. At one point in time there had been rumors of a sequel.

I don't want a mobile remake or a 3DS remake of FFIV. I want a full blown HD remake of the game. One of my all time favs with VI.

Never understood the need to remake those games in the first place. It won't live up to the expectation, and won't be as authentic an experience. If I wanna play ff7 again, I'd bust out the ps1

It don't know if we'll ever get that my dude. Somewhere along the lines, people are gonna be disappointed with the graphics, voices, changes etc. That's why I said 3DS but if this ever did happen, I'd be on board

Same story, same gameplay mechanics, just make it with modern graphics, voiceovers, ect.

It cant be too difficult, and would be cheaper than an IP. And guaranteed to sell.

I need help on bf4. sum1 teach me how 2 shoot
well how I play is always try and aim down the sights and never fire from the hip unless im getting shot at and just have too.  When opponents are kind of a far ( not right in front of you but no farther than 100 meters away) do not hold down the trigger when firing, tap the triggers. Setting the gun to burst fire or single shot may help (press down on the d-pad). The thing is if your opponents are close you don't want your gun set to three round burst which is why its just better to keep it set to auto and learn how to only let off a few shots at a time. If your opponents are relatively close you want to practice being able to turn and put them in the center of your screen THEN look down the sites. That's how you should be acquiring targets. Its takes some time getting used to playing like that but in the end it is worth it because when you can turn and then scope you hit them with more bullets because your bullet pattern is smaller. This is provided that you and your opponent are using the same gun. Also if you can crouch or go prone when firing your gun. Things like crouching, being in the prone position, and looking down the sights of your gun improve accuracy. You cant do that in every situation but do it when you can.

Some of what I am telling you changes slightly depending on the gun you are using and the guns stability and stats. I use the assault class for  and you have to play differently depending on the gun you are using. If your using the AK-12 and have the muzzle brake and angled grip attachment you can afford to hold down the trigger for longer even if the opponent is about 15 meters away because that gun has great stability even without those attachments. A gun like the Famas however has terrible stability and unless the opponent is right in your face a lot of your shoots will go wild. The benefit to using the famas however is that if dudes are right in your face you don't have to look down the sights. You can  pray and spray with that gun. More importantly the Famas has a high rate of fire (1000 rounds a minute) so a person using the famas ( or any of the personal defense weapons that are short ranged and have a high rates of fire) will gun down a person who is aiming properly if they are close enough. On maps with long lines of sight and not to much close quarters combat I use the SAR or the AK-12. If there is a lot of close range fighting I use either the AEK or Famas. A map with a mix of both I use the M416. I would recommend using the AK-12 because that gun is fantastic and its pretty accurate. It's the first gun your start with and its probably the best all around. I will say that even more important then being a good shoot is learning how to move around the map.  Learning how to move around the map is extremely important but you really learn that through experience. What you can do though is try not to run through the map but circle areas where you think enemy solders are. The longer you play the more you'll you will notice that certain areas have more foot traffic than others. Put yourself in a position to gun people down but don't be in their line of site. That is in a nutshell how I play and I have a 2.3 kd so I would say it works.

If they decided to bring the older FF games to PS4 or even PS3, I'd support it but as you said, I doubt it would live up to the expectations of old school players. They cannot recreate that moment or feeling you had when you experienced these games for the first times

So true :frown:

It's all nostalgia for me.

I remember when my dad bought me FF3/FF6. I was so hype. My inner nerd fully surfaced at that point

I think voiceovers for some of the older FF games would take away from the experience. Without voices your imagination was left open minded. When I played FF VI, I thought Kefka was this hardcore baddass, then Dissidia came out for PSP and in my mind, he was portrayed as some sort of clown

Star Ocean was one of my favorite RPGs from last gen too. But it was the first game to ever make me give up on it. Way too hard. Attempted the Phantom Soldiers part at least 120 times, still never beat them :smh:

Damn bro, I remember that part gave me hell, took about 2 tries. Now I fought the final boss for an hour and half and died, talk about being heated
mad.gif
But after I beat him I ended beating that game on its hardest difficulty, i think it was Chaos mode

But those sorry graphics is part of the game lol. Everything about the old game made it what it was. If cloud looked any different the rage rants would be left the right.

All this RPG talk, i think Im gonna go finish Ni No Kuni, I got caught up with some of the recent releases
