I this feeling today brahs. Lemme now if this has been discussed/announced anywhere?

I think in Titanfall along with equipment and guns, I think they'll make you unlock new Titans as your rank up. Titans are like guns, they have stats, so can a lot of mods. And that will be a huge carrot to dangle in front of players to keep them playing.

nah, theres only 3 announced titans with a fourth thats been teased. You may have to unlock customizations on them etc, but everybody has the choice of the eavy, light and balanced class. it would break the game if people had this ultra class titan that would woop anything else

Ahh ok. I was thinking that everyone started with the balanced Titan, then unlock the heavy and speed ones as they rank up.

As petty as it might sound, cuz I normally don't give two hoots about cosmetic stuff, I do hope that there is some kind of visual customization of your Titans. Paintjob, Emblems etc.

Yeezy Titan.

I'm a long time fan of the assassins creed franchise and story.

After being let down by AC4, as a fan of the franchise, I'd rather play Tomb Raider then play AC4 again.

Whaaa? I'm a huge AC fanboy, and I actually think it's the best Assassin's Creed since AC2.

What is it about AC4 that let you down?

I'm one of the few that actually liked the modern day plot, so it was a little dissapointing to me that it didn't really involve the modern day story line, but i wouldn't go as far as to say that Black Flag was a let down because of it.

I'm thinking about getting a new game. Tomb raider or assassins creed?
I'm a long time fan of the assassins creed franchise and story.

Assassins Creed 4 has bee one of the more "disconnected from the franchise" titles i've played.
(in terms of the story being pretty much disconnected from the rest of the titles, and no longer emphasized)

Of course, having played the previous titles, you'll have a much better understanding of what the AC titles are all about.

Its pretty long story with tons of stuff to do on the side.

If you have the slightest bit of interest in pirates, stealth game play, or exploring I'd go with AC4.

HOWEVER...

Since Tomb Raider is more of a reboot of the classic franchise I'd say its easier to get into the Lora Croft story.

I have not played it, but I'm thinking about it and everything I've read has said its an outstanding title.

I'd go with ac4.

The gameplay mechanics are more realistic.

I'm more interested in the perks they have, from the alpha footage they only give you 2 perks(kits) but some are for titans and some are for pilots

that nuclear option = new school martyrdom

My biggest interest in AC was the modern day story.

IMO thats what assassins creed really is.

Alter the present by using memories in the past.

They took a huuuuuuuuge turn in ac 3 and 4 just didnt feel at home.

Here's what i didnt like about the animus part (put in spoiler just in case)
One of the biggest things that drew people to assassins creed, obviously is the gameplay and story line of the assassin ancestors while in the animus. My issue was Edward simply was not an assassin and he made it very clear he had close to no interest in being one. Sure, he killed lots of templars throughout the game but he did it for different reasons than a true assassin. He never even truly became an assassin until I think it was memory 11 out of 13... and 13 was only cut scenes. So 1.5 memories as Edward the assassin and everything else was Edward the pirate.

Some random gameplay issues:

I did not like was how much they shoved sailing down your throat.

IMO they are diversifying the franchise too much and spreading it too thin in an attempt to please more people.

If you changed Edwards Name, Made it British Vs. The New Wold Vs. Pirates instead of Templar Vs. Assassin Vs. Pirates this could have EASILY been it own mediocre selling game. But instead it boasts the "Assassins Creed" name and thus is one of the best games of 2013.

I couldn't agree more with "sailing". That is the reason I still have yet to finish this game, sailing is just too boring for me. I only played to the 3rd sequence and I hear it gets worse

Yup.

Theres quite a few sequences that highly recommend upgrading.

Upgrading requires you to gather resources

Gathering resources requires more sailing. :x

Like i said... If it was it's own pirate game with the sailing and what not it'd be cool w/ that.

It seems like they're drifting away from what made AC so appealing in the first place.

And IMO that really sucks cuz i love the Assassins creed story.

"Nothing is true... everything is permitted" :smokin

Don't worry guys, they'll be like 100 more AC titles to look forward to.

Unless the completely phase out the actual present day story w/ abstergo I'll keep playing through.

Its a very deep story and I love it.

I just with AC4 did more w/ it and less sailing.

Who knows...

The next major installment could really be anything.
