Before I'm asked I traded in my 360 with some games and got close to $200 and then another $250 from AMEX giftcard schemes hookup I've had for a minute.

I got my Day One console for $145. Best Buy was doing minimum $100 trade in on any 360 or ps3 the week of the drop. Went to every pawn shop until I got 5 consoles.

anyone who played the beta...is titanfall worth $500? yes im serious. i got a ps4 at launch. i like it. its just hard for me to say i love it because the game selection is so weak. plus my ps3 and xbox360 were on its last legs so i needed it. with that being said i didnt need 2 consoles with a lack of games. but im itching for titanfall. anyone else in the same boat as me?

I'l get flamed for this, but no, it's not worth dropping $500, especially since you already have a PS4. IF the Titanfall franchise was going to be an MS exclusive, I might say go for it. It doesn't sound like Respawn has any intentions of doing that so just hold out for Titanfall 2.

Then I got flamed, Carver and a few others played dumb like there might not be a Titanfall 2, and Rusty tried to devise a scheme to have me banned from the xbone thread.

Now that Titanfall is out, and we know there will be a Titanfall 2, and it's likely coming to PS4,can we agree that my advice wasn't so bad afterall?

Used to have a lot of free time at work before not so much these days.

Yeah I remember memphissfinest doing to same thing off craigslist buying red ring 360's and doing some towel trick and getting the $100 trade in from Best Buy.

They weren't having it at the Best Buy in Brooklyn they started checking everyone to see if seals were broken and all that

If you got the money and you like FPS games copping that xb1 bundle w/ titanfall is a no brainer.

I played the alpha and beta builds and its one of the fastest pace, easy to learn, hard to master games I've ever played.

I dont see any reason why you would love it based on the post I quoted you on.

Go for it famb.. U wont regret it.

Using one of those Scuf controllers seems cheap to me.

They really don't give you an unfair advantage, someone would change their controller to tactical and achieve the same thing.

It seems like it would be hard to use

I did use the control freaks sticks when I was coding hardcore tho.. I used it just on the right thumbstick lul

You get used to it after about 10 matches and its the best thing if you play a lot of fps games.  No reason to ever takes your hands off the sticks.

 
I could totally just DIY my own scuf controller. I really don't want to drop $100+ on a controller when I just got the Titanfall controller.

The diy is on youtube if you know how to solder.  I really only recommend getting 2 paddles and the trigger stops if you purchase from scuf, some of the other "features" are just there to make you spend more.

What the hell does PS4 has to offer at the moment or forseeable future to make someone go out and buy

Titanfall is that killer must have game and has all the juice right now.

You still salty they didn't bring it to the PS... deal with it... it was a smart business move and Sony would do the same for a killer app and you know it.

You know the XB1 got that juice right now with Titalfall and you still out here campaigning to lead buyers away on a possible hope that it might come to the PS like Sony putting numbers in your account to do so on their behalf.

I know I know you're going to come back and post up about the sales and how much of a lead the PS has on the XB1 and it was a bad business choice for Respawn to make that move and yadda yadda yadda... PS3 was getting killed by the 360 sales wise when Konami decided to keep MGS exclusive to Sony.

If telling a PS4 owner not to buy a $499 xbone for a game whose sequel will come to PS4 is downplaying Titanfall, then I guess I'm downplaying Titanfall. Nevermind that I actually own the game.

Forza horizon 2- open world racer
Sunset overdrive- 3rd person open world action adventure
Quantum break- cinematic third person shooter
Halo 2 anni

Some indie games that nobody here will probably like.

Then there's stuff for this year that will be announced at e3. That's a prett solid line up of first party stuff.
