Im sellin my xbox. Its trash when i think about it. Got me for over a grand by now but the final straw was jus now when i tried to load a file n Madden... why in the **** would u ever think its a good idea to hafta be signed into the network to load files offline. Network issues on their end and i cant pkay single player games? Oh. Enough is enough.

Sounds like your having an EA Sports problem and not a Xbox one problem.  If you've decided the console isn't for you thats one thing but to think the game functions one way on one console and differently on another is irrational.

 
I can see where people are coming from with taking the AI bots and titans out for pilot v pilot...I actually wouldn't mind that mode myself and think it'll come when they add the new modes into the game.  They do serve a purpose and offers a way for non FPS players to feel like they're contributing as well as prevent camping and helping with finding enemy pilots who are shooting at them

Participation kills, dumb the game down so the worst players can feel a sense of accomplishment.  Taking titans out would change the dynamic of the game way too much but the ai is only there for those that can't kill moving pilots.

Yeah....but we gotta remember first and foremost that this is a game that's supposed to appeal to the masses. If anyone feels like they can come in and not get absolutely destroyed (unlike CoD) and still have fun = more sales which = success for Respawn.  Its exactly the same thing that happened to Madden too, back when you had rocket catching, etc. the public complained and EA changed it and other things to make it more appealing to the casual.

If you're not online it how does it check for an active PS+ membership.

IDK, but here's my assumption.

The ps4 has it's own date/time system. Let's say you purchase ps+ till 3/26/15.

 Then all your ps+ games would be playable online/offline until 3/27/15.

The free ps+ games(excluding online only games) work offline.

Pretty sure theyll fix all of this with a patch. You cant run a dvd offline becuase its using a bluray app. I guess it needs a connection, maybe piracy issues?

Imagine if they dont fix it and there is no more live support in 202x.

I'm only level 22 though so maybe its not available for me yet? The only thing I have is the Minion detector or the Infrared detector thing. And I used a burn card one time called Satellite Uplink - which shows the locations of everybody every 10 seconds. It was sweet until a Titan stepped one me lol.

Similar to the halo motion sensor. Add radar to a game to see where everyone is within a given proximity = why camp?

Like, if Respawn wanted to shutdown camping, they could add a permanent radar so you could see campers


Beyond that, there are some burn cards, some of which you mentioned, that retty much give you full radar. But of course thats only good for one player and one life

I cant mess with that radar... I had it equipped the other night and it had me shooting full clips into ghosts.

So theres a bluray app your suppose to download when you pop in a dvd/bluray on the xbox 1. I guess the guy went offline without downloading it.

I just tried it out and it plays offline.

My DVD player not working offline is true, but it was kind of a special case

The app wouldn't launch without an update

I couldn't update cuz my home internet was botched

So i used my 360

EDIT - when my internet got fixed, all my pending downloads went through and I can play dvds and blu rays offline now just fine

That makes more sense. It is kind of crazy that you need to download an app to play in the first place when the dam ps2 auto played dvd's when you popped them in without any thing else required.. but nonetheless I downloaded it within 5 minutes of having the console.

Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC Faces Delays
The Xbox One and PC versions suffer from unexpected issues.

The Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC has been delayed on Xbox One and PC, Electronic Arts announced in a blog post. The delay did not affect the other editions.

"We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs," explained the post. "Additionally, we have decided to delay the Xbox One version of Naval Strike because we want to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations."

Naval Strike was originally scheduled to release on March 25, and is presently available to Battlefield 4 Premium Members for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The announcement indicated that Electronic Arts now hopes to make the PC and Xbox One versions of the content available in early April.

Naval Strike allows players to re-live Battlefield 2142's Titan Mode with the revamped Carrier Mode. Carrier Mode begins with a large-scale sea battle and narrows its focus as the opposing teams attempt to infiltrate one another's aircraft carriers. The content also adds additional maps, weapons, gadgets, and ten new assignments.

Battlefield 4 Naval Strike is the title's third expansion. Previously EA stated it would not be working on future projects or expansions until it sorted out all of Battlefield 4's numerous issues with the core game.

my titanfall k/d is something like 1.5 vs pilots and I think over 4 versus pilots+bots lol. Although I do think they are necessary for the flow of the standard game. pilot hunter is always an option to reduce the "free kills"

I was playing on Corporate and had just killed two pilots, threw a grenade into one of the rooms and killed 4 grunts plus one more pilot, 16 points in less than 15 seconds so I'm feeling

Then, I walk into the room turn right and a grunt kicks me to death Been barely over a 1.0 KD ratio vs Pilots since.

I was fighting 2 ogres at the top of Airbase, doomed one, then auto ejected, couldnt get close enough to rodeo so i was shooting it w/ a charge rifle, the guy spots me so i jump down to this alley way to get another shot, all of a sudden i'm surrounded by grunts. I'm like screw yall I'm gonna get this shot off when they start shooting me, so i start jump kicking them when one of them SOBs snapped my neck

To top it off my boy is like "was that you getting your *** whipped by a grunt" and LOL messages from a random
