Two reasons I need them. The ones out of the box are pretty booty.. And two I gotta be quiet at night time and I don't want no cheap stuff, I've heard mostly good things from astro owners I know in rl or the ones online

Also when is the adaptor coming out so I can use the mic on em instead of the kinect

Either way they will be available in stores and at gamestop with a release date of 3/7/14. Also if you purchase the Xbox one stereo headset that came out today or The TitanFall Turtle Beach's that come out the 7th an adapter will be in the box. My friend helped me make my own adapter that I've been using ill show you in a few

I see the A40's on Amazon for 149, but they don't come with a Mixamp.

Okay I got a pretty good deal on Astro A40's + Mixamp and I pulled the trigger. Always wanted a pair but didn't know if I could justify the price so I kept putting the purchase off. I've had them for about a week now and take it from someone who has been using Turtle Beach's for years these are WELL WORTH it.
The sound quality is incredible, no static, and with the Mix Amp you can fine tune them to get the perfect balance of Game Volume and Chat.
At first I had to use my Kinect to talk through (which isn't too bad honestly) but then I had a friend make me an adapter. There are plenty if vids online and it isn't too hard but you do need a Solder iron. And you do need to cut your stock headset that came with your system to get it done. Here's what it looks like.

I still plan on getting an adapter when I can walk into a store and buy one because it will look a lot cleaner and the wire will be longer but for now this def gets the job done.

Good thing I didn't buy em on Amazon.. I'll most likely buy them at BB or something one of these days. The price is kind of steep but I've heard good things about em and if I use them for the next 3-5+ years they'll be worth it.

With accessories the ps4 the same price don't fall for the marketing talk just save or sell a pair of kicks until you can afford a man machine. Playstation is for loners man

I didnt mean the Xbone is too expensive. I mean I don't like spending money on two consoles until one drops drastically in price so it will be years until I get an XB. Though I will miss out on Titanfall I like the PS4 exclusives.

I think Amazon jumped the gun a gave out a false release date. I ordered with them because it said it would release today but then it says "needs more time to give a estimate delivery date". I just canceled it, Ill just pick it up March 8 from GS or another retail store

Man I'm gonna need to squad up with NT come the release of titanfall also..

I only got one homie on the xb1 so far.

I partied up with a few NT dudes in the beta a few times and I think when I was on we lost like 1 game.

TF is on another level when u party up.. u become unstoppable.. had a few games straight with no deaths like

Y'all have me wanting to drive to best buy during my lunch with these adapter releasing today comments. That the missing link between my x1 and Astros.
And to those still looking for Astros... If you happen to know someone who works at best buy, they get em for $189 with employee discount. My cousin hooked me up and I had a $70 gc from 2 games I traded in during that 100% trade in bonus. So I paid about $120 out of pocket for mine, brand new
