Do the digitally installed games run better than the games on cd?
all games need to be installed so technically the all games run off of the hard drive
You know what he meant.  GTA V officially said don't buy their digital copy and buy the disc bc the downloaded copy is messed up or takes longer to process data, i forget exactly.

So the question remains, Do the digitally (downloaded) installed games run better than the games on a physical disc?  Haven't seen any comparison vids on it yet.

The disc is only used to verify the license, the game plays off the HD regardless of digital or disc there should be no difference.

Didn't know that.  Regardless tho, I'm on Cox, and they have this "Power Boost" that says it downloads the first 2 GB faster so you can enjoy content sooner, or some **** like that.  Attempted to download digital copies and demos of games from PSN Store, and 8 out of 10 times the file came out corrupted.  Looked into and a lot of cox customers having that problem, power boost skips certain files it thinks isn't necessary for download.

Having to wait a few hours to download a < 20 GB game from online, then it being corrupted and attempting to download again and wait several hours is not the business.  These Xbox and PS4 games now >>> 20 GB games.  So for me, its a pass on digital downloads (unless the game is free of course, i.e. games w/ gold, PS+).

So the only benefit to having the cd is resale value? I'm going to start downloading games, i'm too lazy to physically buy the games now.

I was talking about xbox one games not 360 games.

Digital is the same as cd. I don't got to friends houses to play video games and haven't done that in 12 or so years lol. They either have it already or we play online

Sports games aren't worth anything on the resell market at the end of the season.

not necessarily true. if you trade them in a month or 2 before the new one comes out, with promotions you can usually get around $30 back. atleast i've been able to for madden and fifa the last couple years. personally for me, $30 for a game i spend plenty of time playing is quite worth it. I think games that are single player and really have no replay value aren't worth the price especailly when you beat them once. COD is the same way, ive gotten about $40 each a month or 2 before the new one comes out each year
