When those Xbox commercials come on and the say commands, by Xbox does it. On paper the kinect sounds cool, but in actual application it sucks

They work 85% of the time for me, pretty good rate if you ask me.

I cant see that. Look how big the connect is. And although the system is damn quiet there would be some fan humming distorting audio. Much smaller kinnect n the future im sure but i cant see it being built n the console. Esp after all the spying talk

I'm quite sure in 3-4 years the tech inside the Kinect could be shrunk just like the silicon inside the X1 will shrink with the new inevitable slim model and if were taking out the disk drive ? Kinect could definitely fit inside the box.

I saw on some TV show called Tech Homes or some **** dude configured his whole house to respond to voice.  He'd walk into his house and say, "Computer turn the lights on." "Computer watch CNN." "Computer set the temperature to..."

Didn't say exactly how he did it, but he said had a camera and mic in every room, and he was using 360's kinect all around his house.  So the 360 kinect wasn't even used to its full potential.  X1's Kinect could take it to the next level, whatever that maybe.

They really need to get those 2 out ASAP. The game has got pretty stale quick. Love KI but 6 characters sucks for any game lol

 I'm not really digging the d-pad on the X1 though, I thought the latest iterations of 360 controllers had a better d-pad, could just be me

360 d pad is 100% better than the one's. Can't do a fireball motion without using the stick which is a pain in the ***

Naw, the 360 pad let you just roll your thumb on it. The new one you almost have to press every direction for it to work

I hope when they fix the dash they allow a popup like the 360.. I liked quickly viewing friendlists and inviting to games/chats instead of always having to go back to the dashboard and into a seperate friends app.
