So we should be able to use the mixamp and the chat adapter right, run the wires thru opt port on X1 to mixamp, then mixamp to Astros, but the chat wire from controller port on mixamp to the chat adapter? Damn that's a lotta wires. Oh well. I just sit my *** on my couch anyway

You got it exactly right, it's worth it though cause the audio you get from the mixamp is much better than what you get from plugging straight into the adapter.

I wonder when someone will come up with a way to use an xb1 controller with a ps4.

xb1 controller>>>ps4 controller

Those thumbsticks...

I tried hooking up my solos to the chat adapter to see how it sounded. Unfortunately I couldn't get the chat to work even though I could hear other people in my party. I guess the inline mic doesn't work with the adapter. Strange because it works just fine on the PS4. Anyone have a suggestion?

The gold part of the left plug probably matches the one on your headphones, the right plug is from a Turtle Beach headset.

Each one of those gold parts between the black rings represents a channel: left, right, microphone, and ground. The xbox expects the microphone to be on one of the rings that your headphones are currently using for one of the left/right speaker channels.

The PS4 headset uses the 3 ring plug, and that is why your headphones work on the PS4.

Hope that cleared it up.

So is there an adapter.... For the adapter that may work?? :nerd:

My daughter thinks throwing my controller around the room is the most entertaining thing in the world so now my right trigger and left analog stock is unresponsive. About to drop $70 on the titanfall controller right now

I think I still might buy Watchdogs, mostly because its an open-world Chicago game.

Damn shame that the graphics are not even close to what we were shown in 2012.

  1. Record daughter throwing xb1 controller
  2. Post your reaction to that on youtube
  3. profit enough to buy a new xb1 controller
