Air Jordan 7 Retro “Hare” - May 16, 2015

They look pretty nice in those pics. NA on the insole is cool I guess but it's really not that big of a deal. It's just going to rub off after a few wears anyway.
Now we're going to have people putting tape over the NA so it doesn't come off :lol:

JB didn't say the remaster would be exactly like the OGs so with these 2015 Hares, they got them closer to the OG than the cdps and Im fine with that. 

As for the "retro '88" I seriously doubt JB would do that again, don't forget they didn't just do that with the 3's they did that with the Banned 1s that had the NA before they released them in 2013, the first NA in years at that!! 
We know JB is going to bring back the 3s,4s, etc back soon and I just don't see them cutting corners and releasing those as a special release with a $50 price hike. If they can bring back 1s with NA, 7s with NA(on the insole), they can bring out 3-6 with the NA as regular releases too. But if you all keep speaking this $50 extra price tag into existence I bet it will actually happen. Y'all almost sound like you want the increase or accept it already. 

GENTRY AND WHOEVER WAS WITH JB BACK IN 2011 and 2012 ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT WITH JB ANYMORE( Or at least making decisions about retros anymore).

:lol: incrementally closer to an OG is far from acceptable if you're calling your **** "remastered". This technology is OLD. The retro Jordans are the new Chuck Taylor's, remembered for what they were when they first came out, and bastardized and reinvented in today's standards to get us to buy what we paid less for when they first arrived.

Does Nike air really make a difference?
Could just swap insoles or get custom insoles
Heck do insoles with anything on them really matter when they're on feet?

Now that's a dif conversation, but again, how many people were actually expecting perfect copy's of the OG? That's not what JB promised.

Honestly if y'all don't like them putting the Nike air back or the retro card then don't buy. Its so strange how these still recieve hate after they have literally been made to be closer to the OGs than the CDP hare 7s. I thought that's what y'all wanted. Everyone should know that expecting 100% identical to the OG is kindve foolish

You were :lol: werent you the one in the bordeaux thread claiming these would be better than the cdp and bordeauxs from 2011 talking bout the shape, materials and what not? I could have swore that was you lol

I was actually talking about the colors being closer (the green on the bordeauxs and the darker midsole) than the 2011 Bordeaux's and I was expressing a sense of hope for improvement. I was saying that the 2015 Hares and Bordeaux's aren't going to be further from the OG than the 2011 and 2008 versions of each shoe. Based on what we see of the hares that means my speculation was correct. Now we just have to wait for the Bordeaux's.

I like the red on the tongue
I like the Nike Air
I like the 190 price instead of paying resell for the cdp or waiting for JB to drop the price.

Putting NA on the insole and that stupid card is hardly making them closer to OG. I know the OG's had NA on the insole so I guess they're a little closer, but IMO those two things are just a easy way for JB to make people think that the shoes are closer to OG, and charge more money. I mean how much effort did JB put into the card and the NA on the insole? NONE.
Pics still look good and the red in the tongue is nice but the NA and card are just gimmicks if they're not going to fix the shape and ALL the differences retros have from the OG's.

Sadly Im with this 100%

JB shouldn't have opened their fat mouth about the "remastering", but then they couldn't have justified the price hike

If JB had just quietly made a few small improvements (leather, Insole etc) without making a BFD about it, I think most people would have appreciated it
But instead JB blurted out nonsense about how they were gonna return to the OG quality when they have so far demonstrated no desire/ability to actually do so

I actually thought that the quality of the FB VII's was satisfactory compared to recent non-remaster retros. But compared to pre-2004 retros the quality remains doo-doo
 
Pics look good. I'm ready. I hope I don't strike out. NA on the insole is so inconsequential, it's not worth bickering over.
