Air Jordan 7 Retro “Hare” - May 16, 2015

Hare 1s did sit the fnl "restocks" were store stock that sat. I walked into my hoh a week later and copped with a coupon.

Every release has been massed produced like we haven't seen from Jb in many many years. These will be easy to get. There will be more than enough to go around. Be online at 10 and you will get a pair. I'm not sure why people believe that carmines were a hard cop. They weren't. Neither were infrared vi's. Neither were the V's the year before.

If you're buy a shoe because of nike air on a freaking insole or a 1 that comes unlaced I feel bad for you.

Get Google Fiber and never worry about that online hassle anymore since your Internet speed will be faster than everyone else's... Since getting Google Fiber i haven't missed yet... If you don't have access to that get a good connect that will guarantee you your size on release day... Which I have as well if I don't want to wait for the ups man... These two methods will keep you worry free on releases...

every single cop has been easy for me. this will be no different.

that is if i decide to get them

the carmines were easy for me as well. hell i got um on finishline with a rewards card and finishline is usually garbage on releases

seems like you just want it to be hard for people

Naah. For one, Hares>Raptors in terms of general popularity. People may not like Vll's that much, but they love this colorway, and in general the entire Bugs Bunny/Hare gimmick that's associated with it, along with the associated products that are released. That's why we're already seeing more gear for this one release, which still doesn't come out until next month, then we have for any other shoe that's come out this year. They're also, as others have mentioned, an OG colorway, one that was again insanely popular back in the day as well. Furthermore, people exaggerate just how much multiple Retro's coming out within a certain time actually effect each other. I'd say that the average reseller/sneakerhead/whatever they call themselves is able to handle 2 releases a month, with the proper planning and then little issue. The Chicago's then aren't a popular enough shoe to just make people forget about the Hares. The Bred 11's? Possibly. The Royal 1's? Maybe. The White Cement 3's? They just might. But not the Chicago 1's. That's not going to happen.

I have a feelin chi 1s are gonna b a problem. 1s hype is an all time high plus with Nike air and padded tounge. They limit the release and there goes the neighborhood...not sure how the 11 lows will do but those last 3 weeks in May will b interesting.
 
Bugs 8s sat, Hare 1s just "restocked" again online, the Bugs thing means nothing. Its not a 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 11. If you're even competent in getting releases, not even good at it, and put in any type of work you will get these. There is much more stock of these "remastered" releases and people arent dropping 200 ever week anymore. You can try to hype it all you wish, but the reality is it's not going to be there for these at the levels that you even saw this weekend with the gtown Xis.

Like dude said before the 7 is not popular and the only people who make them sell out on release day is resellers.


Add in the fact that light grey suede is a neat freaks night mare and alot of people wont touch these unless they saran wrap their shoe when they go outside.


Alot you guys who keep making stuff up like these and the bordeauxs will be hard to get or are more anticipated than chicago 1 are just tryna hype up to resell.

Well after everything is said and done, I hope I get a pair of these easy cop or not. Same goes for the Bordeauxs; I'm not one for all of the hype, and its sad that hype may make these hard to get.

My store been getting active calls for hares for 2 weeks now. Active calls as in "are y'all doing a raffle?, is it fcfs?" type of phone calls. We've already been getting calls since the BOB 10s asking if were even going to have the hares in stock. Ppl forget nt doesn't represent the market in its entirety. NT is a small collection of buyers. We represent the collector niche, so to gauge a release by pages in a thread isn't really doing your homework. The masses want these. There's hype for hare 7s. Some people don't like 7s but a lot more do. Now theses might not sell out instantly like Holiday release 11s or Black Friday releases but they will be gone. They won't sit and be there a week later at your brick&mortar stores unless we're talking HOH locations that get multiple FSRs. JB knows this the people want this shoe, it's a summer release ain't it? Aside from the few locations where Oreo 4s are still sitting in single sizes, they're gone. Try stock locating a pair and you'll see what I mean. I believe hares will be produced in large enough numbers like the Oreos were, but I'd peg hares above Oreos in terms of demand. This comes from perspective of someone who works in retail and who's there the morning retros are released and subsequently sold out they day of. Last release that collected dust was squadron 13s not even joking.

I honestly think the hare 7s and Chicago 1 Highs will sell like legend blue 11s and frag 1s respectively. Guys who like to have that limited stuff will shoot for the chi 1s. I already know JB will slap limited on em. Plus they'll be "remastered" and pics already have dudes holding themselves screaming "quality!" so the hare 7s will probably be the "I can't get chi 1s soooo.." cop. They're an OG cw that's also also remastered. I wear my CDPs and ppl ask if I got them early and it's not always sneakerheads asking me, its just regular people like moms and dads who are looking out for their adidas soccer pant wearing teens as well as themselves.

Not trying to create unnecessary hype, just saying don't be in denial

There's a 0.0% chance chi 1s "sell like" Frags. Chi 1s will be lucky to sniff shadow pricing. I love the shoe. I'll have the shoe. Will it be gone within an half hour, yes. But all OG 1s are limited GRs. Even the garbage 1s like the laneys, celts, highlights, so I'm not exactly sure why you think JB is slapping a limited tag on them, and how that's going to have any effect on them.

Also the 1s come out after, so if anything people wouldn't buy the 7 and would wait for the 1. I'm not saying these are going to sit for weeks, I'm saying the typical NT BS where people feel the need to shout that tough cop BS, super hype, oh so limited BS blah blah blah, is done. It's lame, the shoe will either have hype or it won't. Each store I have someone at is telling me 2+ size runs, and that's in Pittsburgh. If you try that 1st day and miss out, hang em up because they're a GR period.

Heard this same crap last year with the 6s and the year before with the 5s. It's dead folks. Jb finally got to the point where most releases still sell out by the end of the weekend, but resellers cant make a profit on. From the Legend XIs to the Gtowns last week, my go to store didn't even have enough raffle entries for every size of the in between releases. XIs, yes will still bring it, but everything else doesn't bring the people like it did 2 years ago.

With that said I will be copping, and I'm going to stay out of it and let people attempt to hype it if they want.

Im officially passing. Bought two reebok big hurts and will be picking up the chicago 1's instead.

I kindve hate how short 7s are now(Used to the 7s from (2004-09) buy I'm in regardless.

I just find it strange how all the remastered shoes are creased in every picture before they are even out. The leather looks flimsy
 
How are they remastering and yet still making subtle non og mimicking changes I'm not getting it!?!? Lol but hey I'm in....
 
Just like I said in the 1s thread. Because the month is such a packed month i dont know if people can do the 360-375 min (remastered and jordan 1) a month to JB.Or at least the casual fan.Now its an OG colorway so it wont be a cakewalk but still a packed month nonetheless so ppl should cop easier than 2013/2014
