*OFFICIAL* Carolina Panthers 2023 OFF-SEASON

Tom was working with rookies and young players. Cam has vets and that will help him, I feel like we are better at the WR core then last year. I love the fact we are going back to 2 TE sets. I think Williams and Dickson will be big. O line scares me fellas, like we controlled games last year by pushing other teams around at the line of scrimmage. You can't control the game when your Oline is being pushed back on their heels. Ready to see how the draft picks perform tonight. And please no injuries. That was also a major reason we had so much success last year, we dodged the injury bug all year.

I'm not buying Bell at LT, my god he was terrible at RT. I rather see Chandler get that spot. Should've picked up Winston from the Cards, he would've def filled that tackle spot better.

We lost our receiving core man cam needs to get his tom Brady on this season. Take them lemons and make lemonade
We'll be a lot better than people think on that side of the ball. There replacing 10 catches a game and the number 1 receiving option is back which was Olsen.

Precisely. Add in the contributions from Dickson in the 'Shockey' role (&& potentially, possibly, hopefully a bit of production Brandon Williams as well), && I think that our corps this year will be > last year's, especially in the red zone.

Cams gonna be on the run a lot more because of this o line. Let's hope he stays healthy

What do y'all think of the secondary?

I think we might be better at that position too, even tho I wish we would've kept Mike Mitchell. Hopefully the switch turns on for bum as josh Norman this year.

Yea man, I'm praying && fully believing that if Bell has to start :smile:x), it'll be at RT. I think Chandler's gonna lock down the LT for us this year, though I'm a bit concerned about him wearing that brace in practice the other day.

I also wouldn't rule out Gettleman signing an additional OL or two once roster cuts roll around.

Regarding the secondary, Keel, I'm really encouraged by how Bene Benwikere's been performing in camp. Outside of Kelvin, he's the guy I'll be having my eye on most during preseason. Should lock down that slot role IMO, && possibly much more in the years to come.

I think Cason will be solid, White will have good && bad stretches similar to last year. DeCoud I think will benefit greatly from our front 7 (but then again, who wouldn't ), && while I'm kinda...mehhhh..on Harper, I like the veteran savvy he brings to our group. Divisional games with ATL/NO should be that much more interesting now with these two in town.

As far as Godfrey...anyone's guess is as good as mine at this point.

&& It's seriously now or never for Josh Norman...:smh: got the look && swag during camp/preseason, next to nothing when it really matters. Sounds damb near like a scouting report for a chick nowadays

I don't know if its a good or bad thing the way Kelvin was working our DBs in camp.

I was sold on Norman last year, I mean he lead the preseason in picks. Dude is a amazing layup line player. Bene pretty much sounds like he's locked it up. I think Godfrey is gone. I wanna see what Early do too since he will pretty much be the replacement for Hardy or JC.

Glad football is back! Benji has definitely been putting work on our DBs. Philly Brown has been looking really good also.

Oh yea, forgot all about Philly; should have my tOSU fan pass revoked lol

I'm really hoping he makes the final 53, even if it's via the special teams route...I just can't see Cason returning punts && being our top corner.

Read a couple days back that one of our CBs (think it was Norman if I remember correctly) was getting Kelvin a bit frustrated by pressing him at the line pretty effectively. That was my only concern about Benji dominating during practices; the fact that I hadn't seen anyone even try to lay a hand on him as he was getting out of his routes.

Glad he at least got a small feel for it prior to actual competition, though. Dude's gonna be a monster...:pimp:

I don't know if these were posted, but they're from the "Huddle Up with Cam Newton Series":

Episode 1: What Will You Do with Your Opportunity?

Episode 2: Be Humble or Be Humbled

I love the wisdom that he's imparting into these young athletes and I like how candid he is about his own development. Definitely worth a watch and you all should definitely stay tuned for the next couple of episodes.

Looked much sharper on that scoring drive. I expected that initial rust.

Getting tired of the narrative surrounding the receiving corps; I'm optimistic these guys will show and prove when the time comes.

three weeks until week 1…#KeepPounding

How's the game so far, fellas? Omw home from work...damb Nats && Pirates wanted to go extra innings :smh:

Good to see Stewart running well. Overall, not bad for the offense. It's all about getting the timing down and it's getting there.

KB is gonna be special bro...

D doing work as usual

Cam came out rusty but put together a very impressive drive

Bell did his thing tonight. I think he won the LT job
