*OFFICIAL* Carolina Panthers 2023 OFF-SEASON

Another step forward proud of this team man. So much fight. We found a lot of young gems on this roster. Basically we are a very young team. I just hate to see TD go out bc he's not getting any younger. I'm so geeked for next year already.

, I will be pulling for the Seahawks to repeat. 

I don't know about y'all, but I thought the game was very winnable tonight, but these key plays really stuck out to me:
  • Cam's first interception to Sherman
  • The read-option fumble between Cam and Stewart
  • Kearse TD
  • Tolbert's dropped pass when the Panthers were down 7 driving in the fourth quarter (this was HUGE to me)
  • Willson TD + poor tackling that defense drive
  • Kam's big pick-6 after a very SOLID start to the drive
Those moments were plays against Carolina that were ultimately too much to overcome. It's VERY hard to win in a very hostile environment when you lose the turnover battle (3 for CAR and 0 for SEA).

Ultimately, I'm extremely proud of this squad this year! At 3-8-1 the squad could've very easily just packed it up and given up, but they kept pounding into the playoffs!

Like @keeL252  just said, this team is very young and some nice gems were found. To me, you HAVE to stick with CAM. He was quite hurt this year, but he grinded it out. He really has to work on his mechanics and accuracy this off-season. I think it will help if he can keep his receiver core together so they can get the chemistry right. Philly was a steal! Once he and Benji get polished up, the Panthers will have a very good 1-2-3 receiver/TE punch in Olsen, Benji and Philly.

The Defense really turned it on at the end of the year. The secondary has 2 starting rookies, but they are young and they will get better. I love our defense, especially our front 7, but they have to keep getting better in the off-season. Carolina must make sure Luke stays in town. I love Davis, but how much longer can he go? Special teams simply needs to be better (Brenton, I'm looking at YOU). 

A quick shout out to Greg Olsen as a first-time Pro-bowler! It was long overdue.

I'm very optimistic about this squad's future, and I absolutely can't wait until next season!

Tough game. I knew if we didn't immediately go up with a lead, it was gonna be a struggle all game, lo and behold. Good season because we won a playoff game. Bad season because our record was utter crap and we played like it for at least half the season. Gettleman better get his 'ish together in the off season with GOOD acquisitions. I'm proud of our boys for finishing out the season on a higher note than was expected. Let's improve for next year because the Falcons and Saints will be gunning for us. Now to enjoy the Hornets...

Honestly I feel like we found starters for year at LG, RG, LT, both CB, FS, OLB.

Gotta get another WR, LT, DE, and playmaker at the safety. I feel like we have every other position locked up. Like KMan said upgrade our ST and we right back in the mix of a playoff run.

This season was crazy with the injuries and other nonsense. I wonder can pull Bryan Bulaga from the packers and have him fill in at LT. We have to upgrade at that position.
 
I hope we part ways with Shula and Dorsey. Cam is a big talent but he's still having accuracy problems and makes simple mistakes. Shula and Dorsey will keep him from getting big money. The offense is always lacking, time management before the half was a joke. Riverboat needs to realize that we have to score points.

Word. Wofford this season makes me really miss Ginn. Real talk, our GM is a freakin joke. I know Hurney made a few mistakes along the way, but come on. You are killing Cam's progress as a QB by having 3rd tier receivers.

GMan has actually been a great GM. You gotta understand that we're still have one more year of cap hell and we're still rebuilding. We've been over achieving and that's a testament to Cam and out great defense. If not next year we will be up there with the elites of the league and that's for the great scouting eye GMan has. Once we get out of cap hell we will be in a great spot to stay on top of the NFC for years to come.

Check this out fellas do we sign bell for dirt cheap bc nobody is gonna want him, and let him backup at many positions. Go strong after Bulaga from GB/ He's only like 26 and he can seal that LT. Pick up Kenny Britt who only 26, bring him in only if he got he's head on his shoulders. Sign WR Boykins from GB who's 26 too. And then draft the best player available at OLB, CB, DT, SS, WR or OT. We are only 2 playmakers away man. We are very close.

replace Kenny Britt and Boykins with Eddie Royal and I'm down with that plan. I really want Cobb but that's just a pipe dream :frown:
 
Let him walk, draft another DE. Richardson don't want no part of him. I'm excited about this off season. Can't wait to see what DG pulls off.
 
As long as he don't go to ATL, idc where he goes.


He's gonna wanna get paid so he's gonna go somewhere weak.

To all my fellow Panther fans freaking out about free agency this year is our last year dealing with Hurneys mess. Next year we will have $71 million in cap room to play withbefore extending Cam and Luke leave us with around $30 million to play with after we lock up our stars. Yall know who hits the market next year? Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas since they got the franchise tag. So sit back calm down and watch Gettleman kill it in the draft again this year and in 2016 we'll be Super Bowl favorites. Stay patient and KEEP POUNDING.
 
Bruh at least bring in Kyle Wilson or another decent DB. Can't front I'm a little irked about DG comments of stepping it up this year in FA but not making any moves. I unstand the big picture but damn.

Looks like we are replacing Bulaga with Oher but I still like Boykins. I think he will be a a big contributor for us this year.

I'm very happy that Carolina is playing on Thanksgiving! 

The Draft starts soon!

I'm sure the Panthers will trade some picks. The Panthers need an offensive linemen (OT) badly. I think that is the first priority.
