*OFFICIAL* Carolina Panthers 2023 OFF-SEASON

Football season is about the only time I'm consistently on NT anymore, lol. Title is updated and I'm looking forward to this season. The KB situation definitely sucks, especially for the man himself. I can only imagine what's going through his head and I hope he has a strong support system, outside of the team. Injuries are apart of the game and I wish him a successful recovery. You can't replace his size and talent, but next man up! Look for a lot of TE sets and a lot of SPEED! Not that we weren't going to see that anyway. The coaches know better than we do and I'm sure they'll have a guys coached up and ready to go. Don't underestimate Coach Proehl! We'll be fine fellas :pimp:

Where the hell is the speed coming from? Beside ted and philly...nowbody else is getting seperation. Man the WR is still buttcheeks.

Damiere Byrd is clocking 4.28-4.3, with good hips into his cuts. Those are three exceptional speedsters right there, with the rest of the guys running around 4.4-4.45 with good top-end speed. Not to mention Bersin and Paul Browning offer good size and decent separation, along with good hands. I think these "no names" can be serviceable. We have who we have, so we have to ride the wave.

I'll keep bringing up Seattle; mediocre receivers, mobile, serviceable QB, strong run game and a dominant defense.

We have/have the ability to be that. All hope isn't lost fellas.

Go worry about Jimmy leading yall those first 4 games, Vic.

Power run, play action pass, 2 TE sets. Funchess will develop, ride Greg to another pro bowl season. Let Ted get behind guys. Him and philly can stretch the field but we need to go more west coast offense. Short, quick routes, pound the ball, play action. Gotta use our strengths

So Frank Alexander tore his Achilles on the 3 play of the game.

Injury bug in full effect this year.

  • C Ryan Kalil: Had his knee rolled up on during a series of plays near the goal line. Finished the series, but limped off and wound up with an ice bag on his left knee. Coach Ron Rivera wasn’t aware of Kalil’s injury afterward, but Panthers’ sideline reporter Jordan Gross mentioned it was a knee sprain during the second half of the broadcast.

Hopefully it's JUST a sprain. We cannot afford to lose him.
