Don't get it twisted now. This team is still trash. I just have faith that Fisher will be able to help establish some type of consistently in terms of what to expect from him and what guys should expect from themselves. That's where my optimism lies. I think he's fully capable of learning on the job.

We'll just have to see. Over/under 10 thread title changes when y'all want him fired?

I wonder if Doug ever thought to file for domestic abuse.

I also what's more embarrassing...your wife abusing you or filing charges against her for abusing you.

Missed the press conference because I was at school, but from what I've been hearing Fosher executed nicely.

Saw the suit...bruh.

We just have to move some clowns around. We need a change of personnel

JR can't be serious, right?

I honestly think a solid PG would do wonders for this current roster and then 2015 could be a big FA year I hope Phil can work some magic...

Amare throwing shots.

"For the young players who are not as professional as they should be, I will look for him to put his foot down and really be firm about his teaching strategy and even for veteran players who don't want to buy into it, you got to put your foot down,"

We already know who this is.

Further proof why you shouldn't **** on Amar'e. At least he's willing to try. You can only go up

I hope Amar'e stays, after taking a paycut. Melo, will he stay or will he go? Either way, the show must go on. Once we get rid of Felton, I'll take a sigh of relief. JR is too inconsistent and a knucklehead to stay but I'd like to see if D. Fish and Phil and straighten him out. If THEY can't do it, nobody can & he's gotta go.

Next season should be interesting, using the Triangle, new coaching staff, back to using defense. Whether Melo stays or goes, the Knicks will make the playoffs next season.

Then 2015? Wheeeew, nothing to worry about. I'm looking forward to what lies ahead for this team.

I take back everything negative I ever said about Amare and how his injuries led to our failures. Dude is one of the most professional, hardworking, and passionate players to ever put on a Knicks uniform. True leader.

If dude could play just a little defense.

its was only his rookie season and we gotta knock him on a highlight tape?

i remember halfway into the season when dudes were saying he's just a shooter that can easily be replaced in the draft then son came out with the number 1 play on the vid.

And the craziest thing is that he actually WANTS to stay. You can argue that his body is on borrowed time but I'm sure he could be dealt to another team if he wanted out. Amar'e has been loyal to the Knicks since day 1 when he took the big risk to come over here in the first place. He was coming around last season, hopefully he's at 100% for the start of next season.

That's the beauty of Hardaway Jr. He played like THAT under Woody. Imagine how he's about to get down now that D. Fish(read: Phil) is running the show? Might be drinking too much of the Kool Aid but as I said, things are looking more promising for this team than horrifying, and that's all we can ask for at this point.

Didn't expect much from THJr going into this season. Woodson had the rep of not playing rookies and I thought Shump was gonna be a lot better than he was. As the season went on he became more and more valuable. He's the best transition player we have, he could shoot the lights out when his shot is on, and his energy off the bench was much needed.

His defense definitely needs to improve and I think he'll work on it. There's no reason why an athlete like he is can't be an average/above average defender.
