After watching today's SL game, Wiggins needs a lot more work on handle and 3s, Bennett got lighter and faster but still getting used to playing for a long stretch, and I love the way Delly plays. Feels good to start the first summer game with W.

I also feel if bennett lost another 5-10 lbs he'd benefit from it greatly

I dont think he needs to lose weight anymore, just lift some weight and turn the leftover fat into muscle. He should aim to be a stretch 4 who can both hit 3 and bang down low for a rebound.

I rather choose Bennett over Wiggins to be traded for Love since Bennett might have a limited playing time in his position if he's in our roster and it's good for him to develop elsewhere.... plus Wiggins obviously have a higher upside than him.

Still not sure why Bennett was drafted #1...seems like Cleveland could have traded down and still picked him that year.

Problem was nobody wanted to pick #1 so Cavs could not find a partner to trade with.

I'm reading a Washington Post article right now. It's crazy how one person can have such an impact on a city's economy. It's estimated the impact in Cleveland will be between $50 and $80 million a year.

On the flip side, it could cost Miami close to $100 million.

Rarely am not on NT anymore as I have really moved on from sneakers and working 14+ hours a day really cuts into my free time. This is pretty much the only thread I peep just to hear some of you guys commentary but never really post.

A few things that come to mind about the last week:
When it actually got announced I didnt even know what to do...it didnt really set in until that night/this morning
The letter is epic...gotta give it to Rich Paul for handling all of this the right way
We have a nice squad. People hate on bennet...screw them. Kid is going to be one of the most improved players in the league this year
Have a few friends that are legit from Miami and it felt so damn good to simply send them an emoji and they knew what was good
We better not offer Wiggins for Love...if Love decides he wants to come to cleveland use it as leverage and low ball them. Otherwise he walks from them this summer.
After having a roller coaster ride for about a decade it feels good to be really on the up!

Lebron's deal is for $42m for 2 years - ute not so he can disappear (I read that there is a player option after 1 year too) but to use the salary cap most efficiently. There will be a new CBA in 2 years so if it looks good for players (and the team with an increased cap) he will wait to resign then but if it looks bad he can resign under the current agreement without screwing anyone over. He's pretty clear that he won't leave again - the backlash would be ridiculous.

So Cavs are replacing Hawes and Zeller with Haywood and Dwight Powell... Hmmm I dunno what Powell brings to the table but Haywood was a pretty decent shot blocker when he was in Washington. I dunno if he is still serviceable but hope they can defend the paint well, along with Varejao.
