2014 NIKE FREE 5.0 & FLYKNIT FREE 4/1/14

I'm thinking about buying the mc 4.0, I hope they are more comfy. I tried last years on at the outlet and still couldn't buy them for $40 bucks
These are not even comparible to last years..... these are INCREDIBLE on foot

Do you wear socks with these?
Probably just on the 3.0 Flyknit Frees I wouldn't wear socks because its so damn tight to get your foot in there. But you could if you want. Just wear the dri fit running socks.

I'm new to the thread. I just bought and returned a pair of 3.0s because they were not just snug, but too small. How are these 4.0 fitting? I'm considering getting a pair of 4.0s instead. Loving the multicolor, the red/crimson and the white/black cws. Thanks in advance for any tips on sizing...

Your best bet is to try them on in store. Some go TTS, some size up .5

If some of you guys are still looking for the womens DC 1/2 marathon edition, I suggest you give Niketown in Georgetown a call. I was able to get a size 12 (mens 10.5) last week by phone order. Hope this helps

I tried on a pair of the 4.0 flyknits today for the first time and they run a half size big to me. Wasn't really diggin the fit too much. Kind of tight around the bottom of the tongue area and too much room in the toes. Even with half size down there was some deadspace. I'm still diggin the look of these tho but the fit is not so great.

I've been wearing my 4.0 Multis to work the last few days and these things are great for all day use. The Free 4.0 sole is spot on with the comfort and flexibility. Need to grab some other colorways, especially the Red/Orange/Black multi.

The forefoot area is wide allowing the toes to splay, toes are not squeezed;
also the midfoot and heel areas are snug to provide good lockdown. The flyknit upper and flexible and lower heel-to-toe drop soles are just icing on the cake :wink: Good fit for a lot of runners.

I run quite a bit mostly in my lunarglide 5. I just purchased a pair of flyknit free 5.0 so was going to give them a try before I invest in these 4.0s.

^^^ I'm assuming you're referring to the older version; as the 2014 5.0 can only be flyknit through NikeID. If so, significantly different (towards the better) running experience IMO.

Yup last years model.

Just was curious if any of you have seen the white/black or white/grey 4.0s at those FNLs located in Macy's. I got some gift cards I wanna unload there.

You could use Macy's GC in there. Never thought about that. Good looks. But they hardly have anything nice at those FNL in there tho.
