Question: why is this Garropolo guy shorting up everybody's draft board? From what I read he's a high accuracy guy but his arm isn't that strong & struggles with guys around his feet & chaos in the pocket.

Because he went from a late Senior Bowl addition to the South at the request of the Jaguars to stealing the show over Derek Carr. He's a late bloomer and broke some of Romo's records. As much as Dee Ford shined on the defensive side, Garoppolo did so on the offensive side of the ball. He makes up for arm strength with ball placement second to none. Garoppolo has a very quick release and goes through his reads rapidly. He's a steal from R3 on.

Aaron Rodgers was incredible as a junior. He dropped in the draft for the lack of prototype size. And a 49er regime if they knew how to evaluate pro QBs Aaron Rodgers was far and above a better talent.

Being a Jeff Tedford product used to get you catapulted forward in the draft. After joey Harrington and quite a few other duds it became a reason to be critical of QBs for no reason.

Still mad about not taking Aaron Rodgers 1 and hiring dennis Erickson in the first place.

Houston will take Clowney or Manziel at this point nobody else is on their board.
There is a need on defensive line in Houston besides JJ there was little push. Clowney is a freak a little undersized to play end in 3-4 but he's a specimen that can add 20 LBs and not lose any mobility.

Only guy that's ever reminded me of clowney was Jevon Kearse when he was coming out. Dominated SEC just like clowney.

watt generates pressure single handedly while getting double and triple teamed :x

Give him someone that gives up space. Curtains.

Same thing for the OLBs.

Tuitt and Nix won't fall so Hageman or McCullers even later.

Gotta imagine telvin goes to a Tampa 2 type team who doesn't mind light LB's, he's gonna have to make his bones in the NFL as a cover guy if he can't put on enough pounds

Jones has all the athletic ability in the world, but he seemed to be at his best his Fresh/Soph year at SLB when he was asked to play more coverage (man on man w/ TE's and trailing WR's up the seam). Played a hybrid DE/OLB this year, played pretty good since there wasn't as much thinking. He struggled this year when he played MLB. Very slow to make decisions, lots of thinking. May have been just a result of a hesitance due to a new system. Athletic as hell though, but I'm not sure exactly what position he will play. If he gets w/ a coach that can harness that athleticism though then his ceiling is very high

i've heard telvin doesnt want to switch to SS, but he is small enough for it.. but how adamant is he with that? think he can make the switch?

and i assume you mean 4-3 SAM with jones.. think he can play inside in the 3-4?

Joyner will be a dynamic nickel corner... 3-4 multiple scheme fit him perfectly this past year

i don't think CJ plays at DE/OLB in the L.. i think he fits at SLB better

Telvin COULD break the mold as smaller LB in the league but i doubt it. He is unbelievably strong for his size, but we ain't talking about shedding blocks from maryland and wake anymore... he needs to make that switch to safety imo
