2014 NFL Draft Thread

Put Kyle Van Noy in a similar role to how the Broncos use Von Miller and he could be pretty good

CP what do you think of Sean Mannion QB for Oregon State. I think he stays another year, and he needs to to work on some things but I think he could be a top QB prospect in the 2015 draft class :nerd:

Need the Ravens to grab a couple WR's and TE'S ... Evans n Coleman look good to me, big and can catch

At this point, there is ZERO talk on him. Like you'd have a hard time finding anything about him anywhere.

He has the 6-5 look that GM's love, but does he have the arm for the NFL?

If he wants a shot in the NFL, then he HAS to stay in school for next year, and start showing out big time. Meaning he has to put big games up on Oregon, on UCLA, on Stanford, on USC to catch eyes. Til then, he's not going to be a sought after prospect.

Anyone else catching the feel that Chip is buying time this year with Vick, and Philly is goin QB in 8 months? I bet I know who he likes.........

I'm going to assume you have missed a couple of my postssssssssss...

Also, what about San Diego state kid, fales.. What do you think about him?

Vick is def gone after this year...Chip got his scouts checking out QB's heavy right now, probly got like 3 in Eugene as we speak

Vick has played all 16 games only once in his career.. He has only had an above 60% completion percentage once in his career (2011 - 62.6).. Then there are the turnovers..

And he's 33

Don't kid yourself.

You guys are trading back and taking a DB.

i know..probably from rutgers, again

 probably not from Rutgers lol

All those Rutgers picks can be attributed to the fact that Schiano and Belichick are really good friends.  Thats why Legarret Blount ended up in NE, because Schiano vouched for him to Belichick.  Now that Schiano is gone, you guys will have to draft OSU DB's, because Urban Meyer is close with Belichick too....

but then again, that didnt turn out so well last time

I could see Coleman on NE. Nice, big target for Brady. Helps take attention away from Gronk in the RZ.

Roby would be nice for the Pats. I suppose NE is set with Talib and Dennard though.

if kelly's gonna have success in the NFL he's gonna need LEGIT depth because 16 games at this current rate with the added

intensity of the NFL is going to wear and tear into his teams if they ever get in the playoffs

De"anthony's film reminds me a lot of Austin's. I don't know if Thomas plays RB in the NFL, or utility knife hybrid, either way, some offense is going to combine him with other weapons and create dummmmmmb space.

*sad note, I've even begun campaigning for my Dolphins to take him*

*Begins drinking at thought of back to back years drafting Ducks........and being ok with it*

Mariota looks nice in this vid a lot too. Makes me wonder if Chip does something crazy stupid like get Mariota somehow, then trade back into round 1 to nab Thomas. D-Jax, Maclin, Shady, Thomas, Mariota, Celek, good ******g luck. :smh:

i have no idea where he fits in with the dolphins

best choice the dolphins could make is austin seferian jenkins

d'anthony would be awesome on the saints, eagles, browns, packers

Quarterback class looks deep as hell. Lots of intriguing ones...wonder how they'll all turn out.

Mamba's a fast guy but nothing else. No wiggle no shake no routes.

Probably a top return specialist and hopefully he's a hard worker and wants to get better at running routes inside

“@JoshNorris: Said it before, but I think Hundley is getting much more attention as an NFL prospect than Mariota because he's more likely to declare.”

“@realshaunking: Brett Hundley isn't remotely ready to be first round worthy as a qb. Yet kiper n mcshy on my tube singing his praise. Do they watch film?”
what film is shaun king watching? hundley only looks bad when he doesn't set his feet and has lazy foot work at time. stuff that can be corrected easy
Logan Thomas, IMO, will have to switch positions if he wants to have an NFL career. He could do some things at TE.

I like two Evans' at WR

1. Mike

2. Shaquelle

Mike is an interesting case - he reminds me of V-Jax. However, I'm quite sure we'll hear comparisons to BMW tho.
what makes you think Thomas could work at TE? just cause of height and weight?

and with Mike evans, big slow WR that cant run routes well don't work long term in the NFL

Guarantee my old roommate Shaquille Riddick will get drafted next year. 6'7 junior defensive end at Gardner Webb. Think he's got 4 sacks on the year already.
