2014 NFL Draft Thread

Anyways....Derek Carr does sure seem to throw off his back foot like every single time. Quick *** release though. Also really athletic but he doesn't use it that much.

I have the same opinion about Couch.

I'm with you. Will never know how good he could have been. He was set up for failure from day 1.

Thinking back to that '99 Browns team. :x

And that's saying something because the Browns have obviously had some terrible teams since they've returned.

Manziel is going to be good not great I'm saying it now.

He will most likely be one of the leagues leaders in Turnovers next year.
Just very risky player but the game will start to slow Down for him. And his ability to extend plays will pay major divedends.

I guess you could say the same about Jake Plummer good but never a great QB though. Manziel is Ultra competitive out there Jake Plummer looked disinterested. Evidenced by his early retirement.

Everybody in here needs to also have an understanding that every year we hear about QB's and the questions that define them.

who's more pro ready? who's more equipped to learn a new system?who's able to play under center?

When in reality there is zero science to it and the collegiate game has very little translation to the NFL game. It's all gotta be inside the heart and head of that player to decide if he is going to be good or great.

I don't need to name all the 1st round busts or even the late round Gem QB's at this point to sway your decision. But I thought Id let you know that Trent Edwards years ago was co-signed by the late great QB guru Bill Walsh as a NFL ready QB who can make all the throws and would be a franchise signal caller for 15 years. We all know how that turned out.

So all in all, I feel as if the most competitive guy should go off the board first because there isn't a clear cut no.1 guy and if a team feels manziel is that guy then. Why Not?

Was that video of Donald supposed to be impressive? I watched half of it and didn't see anything worth me even watching further.

The draft guys on youtube don't post highlight films, just game cutups for people to look at and critique it.

Definitely wasn't one of Donald's best games from what I remember

Aside from the video, Donald had a season on par with Suh's banner year. I have questions on how that translates to the NFL, others like Statis do not share my concern.

Bengals may be interested in Aaron Murray. *vomits*
He seriously may be better than Red Rifle.

That film vs UM is excellent. His hands are lightning and when he is allowed to attack shoulders instead of taking on blocks scheme wise he was up under guard so fast.

Bruh is a Problem!

Sold NT on Moncrief and Jimmy Football. Another one I'm liking a whole lot is Dontae Johnson in R4. Size/frame, runs well, closes on the ball. Still raw, needs to get better at tackling and with ball skills.
