He drafted Matt Ryan & Weatherspoon, traded 5 or 6 draft picks for Julio, and signed Tony
Trufant has some promise.
They made some decent signings this off season, Idk how they will work out
Please tell me what else he has done

Dimitroff has made some good moves but they've been mixed in with some very questionable one's. As far as free agency they've been kinda reluctant to spend, picking up Turner obviously worked out well for them but he massively over payed Dunta Robinson then turned around the next season and payed Ray Edwards and Hayden who didn't really contribute much of anything.

Like I said up there aside from Peria Jerry he has done pretty good drafting in the 1st round but hasn't really done much of anything in the later rounds. That isn't really acceptable when your team philosophy is building through the draft with limited moves in FA. Injuries have killed the Falcons mainly because it exposed how lacking they are in depth.

The Julio and Gonzalez trades were definitely one of the main reasons they were winning games but were they really worth it at the combined cost of a 1st rd, 2 2nd rd's, and 2 4th rd's?

I mean that's how **** is when you're a GM. So moves work, some don't. I haven't seen that many bad moves from the Falcons to say his job is at risk.

And Julio proved he was worth it.

I didn't want to sound biased since Im a Falcons fan but I don't think Dimitroff's job is in jeopardy. I agree we did give up a lot for Julio but for what we were trying to do, I wasn't surprised. Matty Ice, Turner, White and Tony G were explosive, Julio was supposed to make them unstoppable, over the top. If he can stay healthy, I think Julio can be top 3 WR. Our offense is still one of the best in the NFL if healthy. As long as we focus on building the defense we'll compete next year. My only negative thing about Dimitroff is that he gives too much money to players that don't deserve it. The FA that we go for are sought out throughout the NFL, just seems he reaches and gives them more than they deserve to ensure we get them.

Julio proved he was worth giving up 5 draft picks, including two first rounders? I'm not convinced based on his current body of work.

Me neither.  At that position, you better be Calvin Johnson, because imo a WR is almost never worth that level of investment.

his body of work is fine IMO. but giving up that much for a WR? no thanks. even CJ81 isn't going to make it worth that number of picks...the impact an elite WR can add isn't worth all of those picks

Falcons are paper thin as far as depth goes and you have to look at moves like the Julio trade as to reasons why

Like I said the move is clearly one of the reasons for their elite passing game but that dont mean it didn't come with consequences either

I think they get back to 2012 levels but they have a lot of holes to fill, both sides of their lines were horrible last year. I'm rooting for TD tho I like to see all them dudes succeed after they leave the Pats

When you look at the teams who have made big trades up in the draft, they all seem to be majorly lacking roster depth: Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Washington, etc.  Those later picks are very valuable.

Why you gotta kill the dream bro?

And yes I know... I doubt he gets to 15 let alone 19.

Baltimore awarded 4 compensatory picks. :smh: Ravens are masters of that crap.

San Fran, Pitt, GB, and Balt all receive 3rd round picks. All 4 teams know quite well how to handle the draft/free agent process and benefit well from it.

San Fran, 6 of the top 100 picks, with an already full roster, and guys on ice like Lattimore and Tank Carradine. :x
