And I complained about it earlier in this thread and ducked shots for it, IDK who it was but they replied 'it's only an extra 2 weeks, quit your crying and let the time go by".

It gets exhausting and stale talking about the same thing over and over and hearing Mcshay and Kiper make up stuff just to get media coverage.

It just ruins the whole draft for me. It doesn't help the NFL in any, contrary to what they think.

I think it can work.. But they have to have the regional combines implemented and all that.. Let's say they do 4 combines (east, west, north and south) separated by a week or two (obviously all televised).. Then do nfl sponsored games like the senior bowl so you can see these guys in practices, give smaller school guys some shine.. Or straight up get some more of those type drills going because those are more important than the actual game anyways

Not personal hope. I do think it would be cool, though.

There have been rumors going around that Haslam really likes him and wants him, but then there are rumors that Carr is going #4 so who knows

I just don't see JFF getting past 4. Houston, Jax or Cleveland will take him.. maybe a team trades up who knows.

It's funny I wouldn't be surprised if all the QBs fall out the top five. If GMs go by BPA then that would make that happen.

i think this happens. i don't think a QB goes top 5.

and if SF moves into the top 10 to get evans like schefter is saying...i don't think we see a QB go until minnesota

Niners will have to give up a lot to move up to top 10, probably their first and both second rounders

Lol I posted about the Niners talking to the Raiders about a swapping that #5 pick a month ago. I got better inside sources than these fools.

It's not smoke screen there's been legitimate discussions between the niners and raiders going back about a month. im close to former 49er WR john taylor and he still has close ties to the organization. he was the one who shot me the info about a month back and i posted it in the 49er thread. he mentioned sammy watkins as the original target tho and not mike evans. from what john told me it was the raiders who initiated talks and called up the niners asking if they loved any players enough to move up. talk between the teams have been going on since then. These dudes reporting are late.

i mean the niners have tons of picks so maybe they're willing to do it. but yeah obviously we won't know until we get to the big day.

this year's draft is going to be REAL fun to watch

I don't mind the draft being pushed back, but I wish it was a two day event rather than three. Isolating the first round is no fun.
