2014 NFL Draft Thread

Alshon had similar "concerns" attached to his name as well. All comes down to how bad the player wants it.

Braylon Edwards thinks KB has bad hands

I don't remember his hands being questioned and he had weight issues because he was coming off an injury.

why is everyone so butt hurt over Teddy falling; who cares?

if he is the real deal then some team gets a steal; all these teams can't just be bluffing

I think Teddy will be good. A top 15 QB, maybe top 12ish in his prime. He has great poise and pocket awareness and can make all the throws.

I've seen a few comparisons to Geno Smith...not even close to accurate. Geno didn't play in a pro style offense and wasn't as polished as Teddy is.

Geno played in both a spread and pro style offense

i think teddy is partly responsible for this. he gave scouts a reason to knock him down by bombing his pro day and workouts. don't get me wrong...tape and game film outweigh the **** of a pro day. but he gave people an opening to knock him down. that's all i'm saying. and that's not to say that people wouldn't have done it anyway, but i dunno. i kind of am with Stilln on this. i don't see why everyone is up in arms about it. some team IS going to take him and if he's the goods, he's the goods. if not, well then he'll be another highly touted QB that didn't pan out.

as far as the knees...pretty strange IMO. i mean unless the kid truly has chicken knees, that's a pretty weird comment or thing to pick on.

I think Aaron Donald is a guy that could go a lot earlier than expected.

How early we talking?

I think he goes 9 or 10.. Latest he goes is giants at 12.. But I see bears or cowboys trying to trade above them for him

If we don't draft Manziel or Evans I think him or OBJ could end up being our pick at 7...if we stay there.

Yea, but KB had one good year and is pretty old for his year. I get the comparison, but his production was better and he still dropped. KB's measurables and flashes of potential will probably keep him somewhere in R1.

If KB's 'hands' issues were due to actually having bad hands (bad technique, bad hand positioning, trouble tracking the ball, lots of 'body' catches) I'd much more worried abt his transition to the L. Everyone's not gonna have mitts like Fitz. His progress from freshman to Soph year was incredible. Still a work in progress since he started playing so late

Definitely understand the concern tho as well as his weight.

Dolphins really can't make this move.. Right?

“@ckparrot: I'm not saying Ryan Shazier is my choice at 19. I believe he will be the Dolphins choice if they don't pick an OL.”

I didn't get picking Jordan when they had decided to move to a 4-3.. Unless they were going use him as between SAM lb and de (which they didn't)

But that I really wouldn't get
