Which RB that we've drafted other than LMJ hasn't panned out?

Hunter? Was always expected to be Gore's backup.
Dixon? His value was great on ST and wasn't expected to take snaps away from Gore/Hunter.
Lattimore? He was drafted to sit out a year and get 100% healthy.

So, explain please?
I dunno, why take so many damn RBs in the first place?

"Yeah, we didn't even expect that guy to be good anyway, that's why we took another one next year"

Why draft so many RBs? Don't be dumb. If you can't answer that question after watching us play twice a year, and with what I just explained to you, I don't know what to tell you.

That you run the ball a lot?  I don't get how that explains why the 49ers love drafting mediocre RBs tho

Take a RB every year and still relying on Frank Gore to do everything.

Quantity over quality I guess

Actually what I see when we play you is that Gore is the only good RB on the roster.

Hoping the Rams make another trade to snatch Brooks/Jackson. Washington got a steal with Spencer Long.

Edit: DAMN YOU RAVENS!!!!!

Niners having the best draft that no one will talk about. Tell you that, right now.

Hyde? 5 deep at RB?.... they have plenty of needs that weren't filled. Not sure I agree there. Corner and Receiver.

Crabtree/Boldin/Johnson/Patton

Yeah, GLARING need.

Boldin is on his decline.
Crabtree is on the last year of his contract and will most likely want too much.
Johnson is a good reciever (1)
Patton is unproven and untrustworthy

Boldin and Crabtree don't separate from corners (Like Seattle's or Arizona's)

But I guess you would know better and be happy with a 5th running back.

What is the difference between with the list you just made, and this?

Dixon is gone.

We are shopping LMJ.

Gore is close to retirement.

Hunter is expected to test free agency.

That leaves us with one RB, Lattimore.

If WR is a need based on what you said, then how can RB not be?

I didn't make that Running Back list...

Hunter is a fine backup, Gore is still good and Lattimore is the future.

You don't seem stupid to me... so in your opinion what is the bigger need WR, CB or RB?

Maybe if they keep drafting RBs high every year one of them will turn out to be good eventually.

Then again, maybe not...
LaMichael James is the only one that hasn't worked out. Name another... we don't know what we're going to get from Lattimore, but he has yet to "not work out" and Kendall Hunter has been good for the most part. Anthony Davis wasn't awful while he was here either. I don't know who you would be talking about since we've been in the Harbaalke Regime.
