"Oregon" Foamposite: NO BUYING SELLING TRADING. PERIOD

Part of the reason people say foams fell off is because they are so easily obtained, general releases lately. That's the way people are, they don't want a shoe everyone can get, then complain when they can't get something. We're all guilty of this sometimes.

I agree with the logic of limited releases, but that's not the case with foams. The only reason they're easily obtainable now is because people don't want them as much anymore. If they were still doing solid colors that people want, I don't think they'd be sitting on shelves. I don't think it's a case of more pairs because they've been releasing tons and tons of pairs at tons and tons of locations for years and they always sold out. They lost their initial core fans with these corny releases. Let's also factor in the $50 price hike in a matter of like 2-3 years.

You couldn't be more wrong. People had no problem getting the Copper, Royal, Eggplant among others that were GRs/limited GRs. The crazy and tacky prints in addition to these being 250 now is why people aren't drawn to them and why they fell off. Of all the foams with a print on them, the Galaxy and upcoming Safari are the most subtle.

FALSE.  Sure, they were more easily attainable on re-sale than shoes today.  Alot of people had troubles finding coppers, hence their 500 dollar tag, since back in  2009-2010.  The '10 eggplants werent hard to get, and the royals sold out almost every time they released.. The Pine Greens sold out almost instantly.  But, the real thing that has changed is the $$$$.  And the QUALITY.. Believe it or not, even the soles on the foamposites are made different. The sudue gets cheaper per release and they use less and less padding.

NIKE views foams as a means to earn more money.   All the foam heads prefer solid colorways...  Back in 2011, picked up the pine greens on resale, for 250.   I bought two pairs.  I got a pair of pewters DS for 150, I bought another for 210... I bought two pairs of pearls for 170 each. I got the cough drops for 150.  BUT NIKE see's more money on the print materials (mainly caused by the foamposite galaxy's).  Which is a shame. A damn shame.   Before you could count on maybe 3-4 foamposite releases per year.

I'm not going to speak for every town in America, but I don't live in a big market and every store that sells foams had lots of coppers and 2010 eggplants. I'm talking like double what a Jordan release gets here.

Yea not sure where dude is located but what he's saying is def wrong. All those foams were easily attainable. Like said before the reason foams are where they are now is bcuz of over saturation, price increase and above all TERRIBLE DESIGNS!

Before galaxy foams, everything was an easy cop and usually it was under retail.

I'm from chicago, so things might have been different for nyc/dmv dudes.

Don't see the point of this thread, they'll go directly to players and end up being flipped for ridiculous sums.
They'll never see retail.

You act like a majority of the general public wants them, nike can keep these

Who cares what the general public wants, just saying whats going to happen.

The general public could care less about the majority of shoes dudes on Nt lust after.

A metallic Green/Yellow like the Purple/Orange Phoenix jawns would've been fire.

Disappointed in these

instead of nike pumping out all these ugly oregon kicks that will just sit they should release one really nice pair a year, such as the oregon v's.

now those are nice, i mean, cmon nike... hats??

They're not bad I think we just wish they'd drop some nice solid colorways to break up all the graphic print releases.
