NFL Week 3 In Review...

-Brian F#*@&*# Hoyer. Spartan Dawgs! . But no seriously, great win by the Browns.
-Giants :x That O-line :x
-That Bears offense is clicking something serious right now.
-Baltimore showing life after a very disappointing start to the season. Good for them.
-Miami just wouldn't go away yesterday. Jason Snelling had a great game for the Falcons, but they couldn't get points when they needed them the most.
-Ahmad Bradshaw also had a great game yesterday. If he can stay healthy, him and T Rich will be great in that backfield. Bring the Colts some balance.
-Great win by Detroit. They tried to revert to their old ways, but they pulled it out.

Eagles
-Lost by 10, but the way we played it felt like we lost by 30 (Probably should have lost by 30). Those 2 picks by Vick were ridiculously bad. Can't have mistakes like that.
-Luckily we're in the worst division in football right now, but we have the Broncos on Sunday |I

The Kraken with 3 sacks :pimp:

You talking about 2 proving clutch QB's. Regular season and Playoffs. 1 or 2 bad seasons doesn't mean that over the course of your career you've been overrated.

LOL. You're exactly the type of clown I was talking about...

-Does winning a SB just absolve you of all of your sins forever?

You're still not saying ****. Everybody can see that they look terrible so it doesn't absolve them of nothing.

But does that mean they've been overrated all these years? No. Your whole act is built on "I told you so" and turning into a ghost when you're wrong so I'm not surprised a dumb statement like that is coming from you. LOL.

I haven't seen Bradshaw play that inspired in a good minute. I missed that guy.

When was the last time the Cowboys won a game with any significance? Romo's only playoff memory is botching a FG go sit your *** down somewhere before talKing about another QB being overrated.

LOL. The amount of hate in your heart is at an all-time level right now.

I can't do anything about the Giants being 0-3 chief. Not me personally.

So why are they playing so terrible and not getting the team wins now? Only thing changed are the pieces around them. When they were at the most "rated " (winning/winning Superbowls)

Ben had: Strong run game, decent o-line, defense that SET RECORDS - now he doesn't and looks terrible

Eli had- Great o-line (~ 30 consecutive starts as a unit), strong run game (at least during the time when they went on streaks), strong defense (when they went on streaks) - now he doesn't and looks terrible.

If they're so great why can't they overcome this?

Sidenote- I've been saying this for a while now and used to get killed on here.

People are still calling them Top 10 QBs so yes, that does mean there overrated.

That's the definition I've always known.

*prepares for bullet list of excuses as to why eli is struggling this year*

If the Bengals had a Stafford type QB we'd be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the L.

Dalton is buns!

Stafford

Everything that could've went wrong for the Bengals went wrong offensively, with some bogus personal foul calls and they still managed to hold Rodgers at bay. Great defense. Need Geno Atkins to start playing better. Dealing with more doubles than he's ever seen.

Glad Gio got more snaps than BJGE. No reason that he shouldn't.

Steelers will have a Top 10 pick this year.

I look forward to a very competitive and evenly contested matchup between the Texans and Seahawks next week.
"Good luck with that bruh"

Edit--
-All in for Week 1....okay Washington.
In all fairness to him, he said nothing about "all in for winning"........he just said "all in for Week 1"  I think all of that will come into play sometime next year, maybe.

Luck > Cam > Wilson or Luck > Wilson > Cam?

Either way, Luck is the best young qb in the league imo.
Tannehill deserves credit, didn't think he'd be this good.

People need to chill w/ writing off the 9ers...
I know some 9ers fans deserved this humble pie but look at the schedule.
They have @STL, HOU, ARI, @TEN, @JAX and then their bye week.
I only see them losing one of those, even without Aldon. That's 5-3 and they may not win the division, but they'll make the playoffs.
49ers will get a load of players back off the PUP list halfway thru the season as well.

Rams gunna mess around and get 2 top 10 picks (they have Washington's pick) ... Goodbye Sam Bradford, hello Teddy Bridgewater?

P.S. The Raiders are gunna surprise tonight

- Once Geno learns how to cut down on the mistakes....mannnnnn, he is going to be a problem. Get him some weapons in there too, we'll be ready in two-three years to make that run.
- Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson...not many better line combo's in the league right now, straight bullying dudes yesterday.
- Santonio...he's a kook but a talented one.
- Explain out of getting hot for two SB runs how Eli Manning is a HOF QB. He has one elite season and the rest he's been pretty average or even horrible at times. When I said there is no difference between him and Tony Romo in reality at the start of the season I got roasted. What is his excuse now? Son might have the best WR core in the league too but I'm schleep.
- Trent Richardson with that ho-him 2.7 YPC average once again. Jim Irsay is a moron, that trade was so dumb, Browns new management straight fleeced them.
- The Ryan brothers are defensive geniuses, Saints look like the best team in the league right now.
- Remember when the Cardinals were 4-0 last year? Slow down with the Dolphins talk a little...
- Is Norv Turner still coaching the Chargers? Inexcusable for the CB to not have safety help on that last play.

Ben nor Eli are great all-world QBs. Never were. But I don't care. No QB can overcome an absent O-Line, or running game. No QB can overcome the team's shoddy defense. Quit expecting one player to do the heavy lifting. This isn't basketball.

You know nothing about the Giants man, just stop. Great O-line in 2011?

Ben hasn't had a good running game since 2005

Of course they needed good parts around them to win, besides Brady who doesn't? Top ten, not top ten, put Ben (I don't want to speak for Giants fans and Eli) wherever you want. Dude was a key part of the success I saw and I wouldn't trade those 7 years for him playing better now (from a fan perspective)

-Jets D is real promising. The stat line from today didn't do their play justice. Kyle Wilson single handily gave the Bills a TD :smh: .
-Geno had his rookie turnovers, but he played a solid game overall. Great throws to Hill/Holmes for TDs.
-Powell with a breakout game. Would be great if he can keep it up alongside Ivory.
-League needs to get familiar with Mo Wilk :pimp:
-The 20 penalties though :x :smh:  Inexcusable. On top of Rex's asinine b2b challenges, it was a very undisciplined game by both the players and coaching staff (well, just Rex).

----------------------------------------------------

-Giants are a real mess right now. Each week they've played worse. Not sure what's going on there, but I'm loving it
-Vikings goofed big time letting the Browns win that game.
-Safe to say Patriots really are the only consistent team year in and year out?
-Bengals doing their thing, Dolphins too.

Giants with the best WR corps in the league?

I'd put the Falcons first health dependent. but when healthy Cruz, Nicks and Randle are up there. definitely a top three core. How many other teams could really have 3 receivers over 100 yards like the Giants did this year?

Other than the San Fran playoff game I don't remember him getting touched like that. Whatever, could be wrong. Either way it'd had to have been decent. And 07 playoffs through 09 he had a beastly o-line. And the other stuff as well. Wasn't wrong about that.

Dude was a key part of the success I saw and I wouldn't trade those 7 years for him playing better now (from a fan perspective)

Bigger than the defense?

And obviously its the WR not getting open in man coverage for Kaep the problem, VD not playing made it even worse.. Then these fools stopped the run when it was working out.
