[h1]hi guys! can you spot which is authorized and unauthorized in these two photos? you can reply "top" or "Bottom". if this thread gets reply at least 10 replies i'll answer which is which. thanks guys![/h1][h1]TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE GUYS![/h1]

[h1]some people here in niketalk can distinguish an authorized pair to an unauthorized pair based on the back of the shoe. now, i'll just give them some knowledge test if indeed there is really a difference.[/h1]
 
top pair looks like the authorized pair but of course hes going to tell us the top isnt. how are we truly going to know the real answer?
 
Even so, it ridiculous how we scream horrible quality on a GM Pair when the patent leather cut is a milimeter too high or too Low but when you see the horrible placement of the stitching on the 23 patch and how the 23 is not even straight. That's assuming the top pair is the legit one that is. Either way, quality wise there is no winner.

[h1]THE ANSWER IS BOTH OF THESE PAIRS ARE UNAUTHORIZED. THIS TEST IS TO KNOW IF THERE ARE REALLY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE BACK OF AN AUTHORIZED AND AN UNAUTHORIZED PAIR IN WHICH SOME OF YOU TOLD TOP WAS THE AUTHORIZED AND OTHER TOLD BOTTOM WAS THE AUTHORIZED. SO ARE THERE REALLY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AN AUTHORIZED PAIR AND UNAUTHORIZED PAIR?[/h1]
 
Nope theres no difference fam we know there made at the same factory the difference is the peace of mind buying your kicks for an authorized jordan retailer. Some people care some people dont. I care!!! lol

my own personal thoughts no because both shoes had flaws. every shoe is going to be different in some sort of way. wether you buy from footlocker or you buy from a legit seller that gets unauthorize pairs, its the samething
 
People are condition to see what they want. Since we were under the impression that one was authorized and one wasn't I'm sure everyone who saw this picked one for some reason or another. This same conditioning and bias comes up in tons of LC threads. Once the clear icy sole shows up, perfectly fine 23's become "stretched" and patent leather heights become "off".

Yeah we all know there is no QC so major flaws are always obvious but not every flaw is major all the time. But like I said, I'm not saying that GM shoes aren't different from RD pairs all I'm saying is besides Icey soles, the ways we're using to tell these shoes a part is bogus.
 
[h1]some people say unauthorized pair is fake/replica. i just don't get it. fake/replica does not have the materials of an authorized pair. i don't know if other people are close minded that because it's just unauthorized it means it's fake. if you put an authorized pair of j11 bred side by side with an unauthorized pair i don't think you can distinguish which is which.[/h1]

not necessarily true, there are plenty of pairs that are really jacked up and the differences are really noticeable due to lack of quality control. Those are the pairs that people bring to the LC thread and those are the pairs that the NT community gets 99% of their GM exposure from. But what about the people that don't have any issues with their pairs? They have no reason to bring them to the LC thread. But I mean, that's the nature of LC thread. It draws in flawed shoes because those are the ones that need verification. Hence why I don't pay much attention to people that say "all the GM shoes I've seen are messed up". Yeah all the shoes in the LC thread. You don't go to a junk yard to find a car in perfect condition right?

LOL! I would have chosen the bottom pair under the assumption that one pair WAS legit. They both a likkle off imo, but that speaks to JB quality that I would accept an off looking pair as authentic. When I saw the stiching on the Black Red I's in that thread I was like wow, they might be GM based off the crooked stitching., but again that's just JB these days. If you want that peace of mind for whatever reason just go through authorized retailers, in most cases GMs aren't cheaper than retail.
