Kim's talent has been to stay relevant and in your mouths, after all these years. Staying relevant in this world w/o doing something crazy outlandish, is pretty difficult.

NONE of these people, images, or objects actually have any talent, and neither does Kim K.
So, in summation, a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star is NOT based on talent.
Therefore, Kim K is just as qualified as anyone for a star, at least in the arena of talent.

Victoria's Secret angels are collection of the best super models in the WORLD. Could kim be an angel? She looks good with little clothes on, but no. Walking the runway takes a certain bit of talent, charisma, and personality. All of which Kim is severely lacking. She'd look foolish on the runway.
Howie Mandel created, produced, and voice acted 80 episodes of one the most popular kids cartoons of all time. Could Kim even do Voice over work, let alone create and produce a cartoon show? **** no. Hosting game shows does take talent. It also requires charisma and personality, which as noted Kim severely lacks.
Shrek is one of those novelty choices on the walk of fame, but the movie itself was a huge success, commercially and critically, and won an Academy Award. Does Kim have an Academy award? Nope.
So she's not as talented as any of the names mentioned. She's famous for being plugged by a second rate pop star, co-starring on a fake reality TV show, and being managed by her **** of a mom.

1st paragraph: None of those chicks could get smashed by Ray J on camera and flip that into a media empire. Her dad was the defense lawyer for the OJ Simpson Trial and SHE was the one that made her family famous. Nobody's trying to see any of those Victoria's Secret broads get smashed. If you're gonna point out that Kim couldn't do what they do, then you have to acknowledge that none of those broads could gain success the way Kim did.
2nd paragraph: Kim Kardiashian's notoriety launched a television show that would become the anchor for E! . She has one of the most successful shows on one of the most successful networks on television. It's on just about every other hour, and there are tons of spinoffs. This show has been on since 2007, with 107 episodes and an average of 3.2 million viewers per episode. I don't even like the show, but it's more successful than Bobby's world. Howie Mandel was never considered one of the most talented comics, and after Bobby's World he SEVERLEY fell off in the comedy game. He was smart with money connections and knew what crowds he could cater to. Before America's got talent, Howie made SEVERAL attempts at reality TV shows and they all failed. So, just like Kim couldn't host a talent contest, Howie couldn't convince lazy Americans to care about his personal life.

I just want to be clear: I couldn't care less about whether or not Kim Kardashian should get a star on the walk of fame. All I'm saying is that she really isn't that far off from people who DO have a star. It's not that big of a deal at all, as there are literally thousands of stars on the walk of fame and alot of them do not go to people based on "talent" or "hard work" or whatever. It's just a publicity thing, like getting a sandwhich named after you. It just means that you're a well known LA celebrity that the owners of those blocks would like to acknowledge next time they want some pub surrounding that tourist attraction.
