Post Your Beard. Vol: #Beardgang

Wait yall leaving that Castrol oil on all day? That smell. I shaved my beard due to it looking and feeling unhealthy. All I did was shampoo, condition and brush. Will start over and really put in the effort to care for it more this time around.

That's why you can't just shampoo or condition
**** dries up or the ends break and turn dead.
Taking care of it is nothing different than getting a fade and using decent products on your head, it's normak hygiene

Can someone put me on to this castor oil? Wich one works te best and is it for blacks only? Im mexican/puerto rican if it matters.

I hate my natural lines. My right side is pretty good and I just need to line it a little bit but the left side is way higher. It takes me a while to even them both out. Was able to make it look decent with my outliner last night.

Sunny isle dark castor oil is the brand you want. I've been using it this November every other day and my beard is softer than when I used leave in conditioner. I'm mexican by the way so I don't think it matters who uses it
 
Quick list of product to use once my beard is back in like a month. 

Shampoo, conditioner, oils, balm, wax, etc.

the castro oil smells horrible, i leave it on over night and need to wash my face in the morning before work
 
Been growing my struggle beard for the past two weeks, thinking of growing until my boss tells me to shave

Naw, it filled mine in. Slowly but surely, it's still filling in too. Noticed my beard start moving up my cheeks and filling in on my chin and a bit above. Can almost do a Goatee now and I think it will come back in full soon.

Dam I need to get back on it. How often do you apply it?
 
Black bearded NTers...when is a good time to trim your beard for the first time? And what shape do you go for??

My beard is super long on my sideburns area..and regular everywhere else..kinda uneven...also thicker and longer on the chin..

What should I aim for?
