Signed up for Dollar Beard Club. Getting their oil every month. Also purchasing a Kent Handcrafted Comb today. Will update with a review when I get it.. Hearing great things so far.

if you have decent genes and diet right and don't smoke, do drugs, drink heavily and mostly DIET RIGHT, your hair will be really healthy and your skin too. 
 
The same reason I put hair products on my hair.. Moisturizes my beard and keeps it soft.  Which encourages healthy growth along with my diet. I'm black though.

anyone who grows a beard ( a real beard not facial hair) uses a handmade comb. ALWAYS comb a beard. not all day bc it will get split ends. and also the reasons for the beard oils are bc when you shampoo your hair you strip all of the nutrients out of it and your hair is exposed to damage.  its like just sanding your car to bare metal and riding out. that **** will rust to hell with out protecting it with primer paint and clear. and yes I've had my beard about a foot long.
