NFL Week 4 In Review...

Giants

O line is beat up and trash. Eli has no protection and we have no run game.
Defense is decent but can't hold up on the field for 4 straight quarters.
Josh Brown should be cut.
Defense forced 3 TOs and didn't score a point.
With that said, we're only two games out of first place.

Matt Flynn proved he's not a starter yesterday.
Schaub, hahahaha. Terrible in Atlanta, terrible in Houston.
Flacco is below average, don't care what anyone says. He's Trent Dilfer 2.0
McFadden, he hasn't done **** in this league. Wonder what his future is like after this year.
Cassell >>> Ponder
Peyton and Denver are scary.
Russell Wilson, RGMe and Kaep haven't been impressive but Luck is cooking.
Falcons doesn't have a defense and their O doesn't look as good as last year.

You know why I dislike the NFL today and how the game is played? Ben, Joe and Schuab all threw for about 350. This used to be considered a great game and didn't occur often. Do any fans of those teams want to say their QB played great? Or even good for that matter? Frustrating to me as a fan

Tony Romo has passed Aikman's career 300 yard games...prolly 3 years ago...times have have changed

no way Chip Kelly stays past this season . hes not built for this ****
“@RoobCSN: Eagle are first team in NFL history to gain 430 yards or more in each of their first four games in a season.”

“@RoobCSN: Eagles' last three opponents are 10-2. Their next eight are 7-24. Their next opponent that currently has a winning record: Lions, Dec. 8.”

he's banned from the NCAA for 18 months, he's going nowhere

was it effective immediately, or when (or if) he goes back to college?

*Sad that Larry Fitzgerald has played with ONE good Qb in his career. :smh: Josh Freeman will probably be in Arizona next season.

yup effective immediately, it'll end December 2014

I feel no remorse for Fitz, he resigned to that sorry team knowing full well they'd never have a competent QB

Colts:

Luck started off looking sloppy but he fixed it up. The communication between Hilton and him was also off but they fixed that as well.
Defense looked great again (I know its against Jax).
Oline NEEDS to block better especially with Seattle coming up (also the next stretch of games are tough).
I do see this west coast offense putting up numbers this week against the Hawks. Letssssss see!

NFL:

Peyton is the GOAT. :smokin
Ponder lost his job. lol
Schaino is gonna kill D. Martin
Steelers and the Giants are in for a long year
Schaub is never going to take that team anywhere
Chiefs look good. Will they be the ones to hand Denver their first L? Maybe so. :nerd:

all that means is that they might coast through an easy schedule only to get waxed in january

Vikings finally came out on top, but I saw a tweet that is telling – “The Vikings scored 34 points, forced multiple turnovers, didn’t have a single turnover, yet still had a chance to lose the game on the final possession?” When the pressure isn’t forcing turnovers the secondary is flatlining in coverage. 1-3 is not insurmountable in this particular season, but there’s not a flurry of optimism looking forwards either.

Cassel’s arm strength was enough to make Minnesota fans content. The piece of Kraft Mac & Cheese attached to Ponder’s body has been a nightmare, and a guy that can actually gun it makes the defense wary of downfield throws, which opens up running lanes. AP was a lot better today, and that has a lot to do with it. Also Felton… of course.

Tom Brady is awesome to watch. Their run game was pretty apparent on Sunday night, but it’ll be a sad first Sunday when Tom isn’t out there dissecting defenses.

Speaking of dissection, I would trust Peyton Manning with a scalpel over James Andrews.

Trent Richardson with 60 yards on 20 carries. The Browns are 2-0 since the trade, and despite the Colts success that’s a 3.0 YPC average for the guy. I think he’s got a lot of talent, but it’s just interesting is all.

From looking at the box score, Matt Flynn perform like a bum… 1 TD, 1 INT, 227 yards. First game, and if there’s more I expect that to improve. Flynn for the Hall, btw.

The pressure Seattle’s defense put on near the end of that game was terrifying.

Despite KC getting some due before the season, it’s as simple as this: The Chiefs are better than we thought, and the Giants are much worse than we thought.

Hakeem Nicks is in a contract year. Hakeem Nicks is not playing for a paycheck, clearly. Change it, or millions of dollars are flying out of his pockets with each game.

Predicting the Dolphins to lose by a couple touchdowns tonight.

Who the hell does Geno think he is
Broncos going to the SB.Peyton knows what's at stake
I still feel Dalton is the answer in Cincy. Schaub not so much
Chip Kelly ain't built for this. Why would you take a delay of game?
Freeman was praying on the downfall of his own squad yesterday
Giants and Steelers smh

It looks like the end of an era for the Giants.

I find it hard to pin-point why we lost, we are overall just a bad team.

On the bright side we will going into next year with a ton of Cap room, and hopefully regardless if Coughlin retires we shoud be getting a new OC and DC.

Rest of the League-

At least Peyton is massacring the rest of the NFC East for us.

Its crazy how the Browns could be a top of the division by thursday night after giving up.

Bucs always find ways to lose.

People are talking about Seattle with home field advantages, but the Saints could be just as good at home too.

As an Eagles fan, do you think he'll last?

I think the pace of his offense is unsustainable, TBH. Puts entirely too much pressure on the defense and they're on the field way too much.

ON THE EAGLES:

peyton is already on/in GOD MODE.. we really could have done without the 2 special teams TDs (the kick return.. and the blocked punt return)

the BS pass interference on fletecher didnt help either.. but i guess we did get away with a facemask call on the 1 sack we had

also celek's dropped pass early on really hurt

denver's offense is averaging 44 points, our defense gave up 38.. so let's not pretend like the eagles are the only team to get throttled by the broncos

the broncos offense only had 22 more yards than.. not that it matters much

we competed in the 1st half (which is all i really ask/expect from the team this year), in the 2nd half you could see the guys didnt really want to be there.. bryce brown outplayed mccoy and:

Reuben Frank @RoobCSN 14h

Jeff Maehl didn't play on offense the first 55 minutes but had the most yards of any Eagles' wide receiver [2-for-43, TD]. #EaglesTalk

and the NFC east is horrible.. somehow at 1-3 we are only 1 game back.. dallas (the 1st place team) plays denver this week.. we play the giants.. IF we win and they lose we'll be in 1st

no faith in our kicker to hit a 50ish yard field goal even with the altitude.. which was justified based on him missing a 47 yarder later in the game

and you take the penalty to give your punter a little more room

He'll last the first two seasons, offense is not the problem. We can move the ball easily, it's just key drops and holding penalties kill us, not to mention we miss Maclin badly. It's the defense that just flat out can't stop anyone. Idk if it's the scheme or personnel but NO ONE seems to have a clue, I won't overreact because it's Peyton Manning that shredded us but we gotta show improvement against these upcoming NFC teams or Chip's tenure will be a short one
