I posted this in the NFL thread, but I figured it was deserving of its own thread
RIP LC Greenwood.
As a kid I thought it was the coolest thing having an NFL legend as a deacon at my church. I used to remember him pulling up every sunday in his TINY 1979 Mercedes SL convertible. It was odd seeing such a huge man get out of such a small car lol.
But a couple weeks ago, my dad and I were talking about the NFL players suing the league, and he started talking to me about all the problems that LC was having. He went in the hospital for back surgery, and died yesterday from complications.
Never got to see his name called at Canton.
