OFFICIAL OCTOBER '13 NIKE OUTLET/WEBSITE/STORE UPDATE THREAD - DO NOT MAKE REQUESTS

Easiest way to quiet all the nonsense would be to post pics of the soles. All Ross shoes have the price written on the sole, usually in sharpie or some sort of metallic marker. Until I see that photo pop up I'm calling nonsense. In the golden age of internet trolling these kids will do anything for attention, up to and including bringing their own shoes to Ross to take pics for e-fame.

If you believe this to be true, what would prevent them from taking a magic marker to the sole of their kicks?

goo gone will get rid of ink markings on the sole. i've used it numerous times on my finds from ross / marshalls.

i wouldn't be surprised if people actually did find said shoes at these discount retailers. if they're lying, so be it. there are a ton of findings out there, more than one realizes. people just have to... search.. and more than often be lucky.

so the receipt doesn't prove it?

I'm nearly certain the receipt just has a generic product name like "men's basketball shoe" or it may even specify Nike or Jordan branding...but it won't have the number of the pair and damn sho won't say Doernbecher.

So he gonna carry shoes he already bought into the store and grabbed a tag gun and sit them on the rack, take a pic of them...pay for them again....believe it or not these things do happen...some sounds mad that they overpaid on some kicks.....hype will get you every time.....but anyway...more updates please???

Compare at $100. I don't think so. I found a size small, brown Nike USA destroyer jacket that said, "Compare at $300." Ross puts the retail prices on the tags.

just because they do doesn't mean they're always accurate. i've gotten plenty from them that didn't reflect the actual retail, even when the original retail tags are still attached.

Use your heads people, shoes like DB4s wont be at ross. however raptor 7s and those uptempos are very possible as the release was a certain time ago. dont go into ross expecting that though, expect the stuff that doesnt sell at retail like Jordan Boots.

Dbivs is the only one that seems suspect. The rest are believable.

I'm not going to take sides, but I will say that unless you work somewhere that pays $200/hr, I wouldn't be walking right past these. I'm already there and its a max of one hour to take pics, throw them up on eBay or elsewhere, and then a short trip to your local post office to ship once sold.

I don't make $200/hr, close but not yet.  Factoring in the following I think it is to much work:

1). Verify how much Paypal is going to take from total sale

2). List on Ebay, since I don't sell I have no seller feedback so most people will think they are fake so bidding won't go as high for them.

3). Respond and filter through all the people asking if they are real and requesting more pics.

4). Hope that the person who wins is not a deadbeat and actually pays, otherwise relist the item

5). Ship out the shoes, with insurance

6). Wait for them to receive the shoes

7). Hope that the person doesn't file a claim with Paypal saying they are fake, even though they aren't.  If so Paypal will refund them the money and I am out of a pair of real shoes.

If I made $20 an hour all that hassle is not worth my time.

Back on topic.

The Nike Air Force One “Chad” Doernbecher is available now for $59.99

Still had a few sizes when I checked yesterday, nice woman picked up and held them for me until 2:30.  I was informed they don't do phone orders prior to 2:30, never knew that.
