If Peyton and Gabbert traded teams, how different would the result of their matchup be?

No way.  Peyton would struggle to go .500 with these Jags.  They're that bad.
last place schedule, 4-5 potential winnable divisional games, and the cardinals rams games are winnable with peyton under center.   it's a possibility.

his 2010 colts team with all the injuries was pretty average and aside from reggie wayne had hardly anyone on that team and they finished 10-6.   that was one of peytons more impressive seasons imo off the strength of how he was throwing to a bunch of nobodys and playing good football.

With numbers as great as Mannings all you need is one ring.

I can do the same and say Bradshaw has multiple rings and he was garbage...Elway was way below average in the playoffs before his final two years....Ben is a monster in the playoffs record wise, is he one of the goats? Brady ended his season with a pick last year as well... hopefully it doesn't happen this year. otherwise we can question his legacy just like manning correct?

Wait you don't really think Terry was garbage do you.... :nerd:

I think he'd do alright with Shorts, Blackmon, Lewis and MJD. That o line would be a problem fast though

Not one person answered the actual question asked in the op

terry bradshaw got knocked into tomorrow and still delivered a

go ahead touchdown in the superbowl...

if you think terry bradshaw is garbage your an imbecile

he was completely scrutinized by the media , his coach and

some of his teammates for years , they treated him like he

was the town idiot for years....yet he still went to work on sunday

and got the job done on the biggest stage

look at all the mental mistakes some of the most talented

quarterbacks make tony romo , michael vick , peyton manning etc

thats like 34 years of quarterbacking with 1 ring

MJD and Blackmon are good starts. Peyton can start a fire with two sticks and be good

the herd brought up a good point this morning. peyton's teams turn into finesse teams. if gabbert were to play with this broncos team, i'm sure they could devise a conservative plan to still be good. running clock, not getting into shoot outs, etc.

but if peyton were to go to the jags, with decent weapons, i'm sure they could improve and out score teams. no idea how good their oline is, though.

Y'all nimrods aren't acknowledging how load the broncos offense is....Peyton always been on loaded teams and always choke

Brady been playing with marginal talent his whole career...luckily gronk and Wes ended up being great cause their production wasn't expected when they came to New England

Jaguars would destroy the Broncos.

Blaine Gabbert is the worst "starting" quarterback I have ever seen in the NFL. He really is that bad.

jags would win. not because of peyton as much as it is because of gabbert though

My question is. Did Manning have greatplayers around him? Or did Manning make the players around him great?

Were Eric Decker, Damaryius Thomas, Pierre Garcon, an Austin Collie good before and after Manning came into their lives?

Granted Manning did have Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne...

10 seconds in the pocket & still not find a open reciver

Classic chicken/egg argument. You can go on and on in circles with this.

IMO I think its more clear cut when it comes to Peyton and even Brady. You put any body in front of them and they'll find a way to get the ball to them. I don't think Blaine Gabbert or Christian Ponder can get it done, even if they had Dez, Julio, Randy Moss, or Marvin Harrison on their teams.

People won't know a true answer to this chicken/egg conundrum. Especially not on some message board.

What people need to also realize is the work Peyton puts in to make his receivers better. When to make breaks, how to feel the zone, when to alter a route...It's all done mainly through his eyes, but they go hand in hand to being a great receiver. He had a part in molding Wayne into the great he became and it was evident with D. Thomas just how much his knowledge gave someone with raw talent the actual instructiosn and direction to become not just a great talent, but a great receiver.

How Peyton teach all them dudes to make one handed catches?

Pinpoint accuracy to the exact location of the hand that makes the catch most susceptible to being caught without the assistance of a guide hand.

And touch.

:pimp:

Yeah, I don't understand that at all.

2 more pass td's than picks, terrible completion %, didnt throw for insane yardage.... with that offense and defense. GARBAGE. doesn't sniff any of the greats of this or any era.
