I'm just saying **** but you're saying KD should be out here running pick and roll. Kind of hard to run pnr when he's too hesitant to get the ball, and refusing to seal Tony Allen off to get it.

just saying ****
doesnt matter. TA is bothering him through physical contact. Serge is a very good screener which is what they did the first half of the season. and if the defense adjusts to serge/KD, KD passes the ball to the open man. rotate until the best shot is available.

First half of the season OKC was playing through KD fully, allowing him to be a playmaker and make the right plays. He can't do that this series because he can't create **** on Tony Allen. He can't put it on the floor against TA and make an efficient play. So yes, it matters. Very Much so. TA is blowing up everything that OKC does.

Clippers gotta make sure that they don't blow their assignments and make sure they jump curry whenever he's playing pick and roll ball. Especially when he's going left off of those screen rolls. He loves that shot. Continue to jump out and show when Curry and Thompson are coming off curls and screens. Clippers (BG and DJ) have been good at containing Thompson and Curry off screens, hopefully that continues.

Oracle is waiting to explode, gotta dilute that crowd as much as possible by being sharp, no bad shots or turnovers that could feed into cheap 3's.

The Pacers are finished. It's over. I have no reason to believe that all of a sudden they'll be successful tonight. The issue here, is that this is a flat out bad matchup for Indy, this goes beyond indy's bad play. Even if Indy were sharp, they would have trouble with ATL.

Memphis ends this tonight too. TA isn't going anywhere, and he's taken KD completely out of this series. That won't change just because this is an elimination game. Him and Russ have the ball all the time, and this is a make or miss league. They make shots, they win. They miss, they'll lose. It's that simple. There's no schematics that'll save OKC, especially this late in the year.

they should just not start/play roy and go with scola or even someone like copeland. it's not about worrying about someone's ego, you have to win. vogel has to realize his job is on the line and he has to do something to change things up. throw in cj in there and leave him in the game if george hill isnt playing well. only people that really bringing any type of intensity is west, lance, and scola

He can't play pick and roll because he can't put it on the floor against TA without coughing it up or having to chuck up garbage honestly.

OKCs offense isn't much different between now and then. You think Scott Brooks was a clipboard casanova in January, and just suddenly forgot what he's doing?

NOPE.

KD just out here not playing well. It doesn't help that Brooks is lost, but ultimately it's on KD to score.

man, yall like have 1 layer of analysis and give up on the thought process. i see why yalls argument is what it is

if you can't see the GLARING difference between the offense being orchestrated by KD in pick n roll VS. orchestrated by RW in pick n roll, then we literally aren't watching the same game. (in the same scott brooks offense)

Anyway for OKC to turn this into a track meet? I mean they get caught playing a half court game, it's just going to be a repeat of Game 5.

because they bring the ball up with Russ, and KD is being blanket by TA as soon as he crosses half court. Thunder try to isolate (post up) in mid post, high post, all the way out to halfcourt and half the time it's a turnover. Either run a pick n roll with Russ and KD to get the ball to KD. or let him bring it up court like he did last year. or run him around screens. They aren't doing any of that

Too much is being made about one mans defense.

People are conveniently ignoring Westbrook being held to 34% shooting and 18% from 3 with almost 5 turnovers a game. Serge is the only guy who's maintained his regular season output while hitting the glass a bit harder.

Memphis' team defense has been near perfect

For all of my conspiracy theorists - Do you guys think the NBA wants the Clippers to advance? Or do you think the league would rather see them out of the playoffs as soon as possible? Or does the league not care either way?
they are the better team in this series

The only way the Clippers don't win this series is if they lose both games. (Magic Johnson voice)

Bruh, even if what you said was true, that KD can run pick and roll well, he can't do it this series. That's the point. Period  TA is taking that away. When he puts it on the deck against TA it's resulting in bad shots and turnovers. He can't even use the screen in pick and roll well because he can't put it on the deck against TA. TA is fighting over all those screens and as a result is pushing KD further and further out if KD tries to play pick and roll basketball.

This series will be won or loss on Westbrook's shoulders. KD is done for for this series.

i actually commend KD not trying to get the ball when their primary play is to post him up to get him free and half of the time it's a turnover. 8)

Ohhhh...you want KD to bring the ball up against TA? Really? I don't think that ends well. I mean that's just my opinion but if he brings the ball up, that'll just push him further from the basket, which to me is his biggest issue this series. It'll also probably result in more turnovers. He's coughing it up a lot this series, I don't know if giving him PG responsibilities will help that. And down the stretch they do run pick and roll with Russ/KD with Russ handling to get KD the ball, but that almost always results in KD being pushed out of his comfort zone.

 @ comparing Bron in 2010 to KD now.

Bron woulda stayed in Cleveland if he was playing with two guys as good/young as Russ/Ibaka.

They both had pretty bad coaches though.

Bron played in a **** conference but we all know that. Is ibaka really better than big Z? I think ibaka might just be the most overrated player in the game right now. How people casually throw his name in with Russ and Durant?

Y'all love them flashy blocks a tad too much. He's not gonna be a main factor when discussing a title

Matter of fact with Russ sheer alpha dominance and lebrons willingness to be passive the same complaints would happen

KD needs to make a super team in the east. Build his rep back up

Ftr lebron is def better than Durant its pretty obvious.

the coach is supposed to draw up plays to get kd open looks so he gets in rhythm

the coach is drawing up 30 foot fadeaways for game winner and yall still wanna blame durant

Right. Because the coach is drawing up plays to get KD the ball midway to half court. Come on man

how many times have you seen OKC run pick n roll this series with ibaka as the screener? You're extrapolating a few plays and saying now TA has taken away KD as a ball handler in pick n roll. that's crazy

the problem is that with KD at the facilitator, Westbrook has to stand in a corner or move without the ball and there's no way Scott Brooks offense is gonna have that in the gampelan
