No more MVP race talks, it's over
KD is the best player Maryland has produced. Their must be something in the water here. For as small as our state is, we produce crazy basketball talent. Cassel, Francis, Melo, Bias, West, Oladipo I can go on and on.
Melo? What u talkin bout
People still don't know Melo is from Bmore..? He only started claiming NY after he went to the Knicks

i dont think you get it. when KD passes to those bums he's giving them his godly blessing and allowing them to hit shots, so he gets 100% of the credit. when westbrook passes to anyone thats open credit should go to the guy who got open for moving without the ball rather than westbrook.

this is dumb. I was trying to address how Westbrook's distribution to primarily KD and Ibaka shows up as that stat dude tried to post about KD vs. Westbrook assisting the ball. You clearly missed the context with the sarcastic description of KD's godly blessing. In actuality, I alluded to the bums not hitting shots at the same rate as the guys westbrook is getting the ball to. So therefore, assisting rates per X minutes or whatever Hollinger stats dude tried to drop are skewed.

Not that KD is magically making these guys hit shots but that he is sharing the ball with them more which in turn creates a better flow of the basketball when KD facilitates. he is, however, getting guys the ball in easier and more comfortable spots. the court is completely spread out with KD facilitating and he's a willing passer. On top of KD just being outright the most lethal option if you want to stop him from sharing the ball. It's not stoppable at the end of the day (KD as the primary handler).

Dude was born in NY but did high-school in Maryland. Then played in Oak Hill, Then Syracuse before being drafted. He was all over. That's why he won't rep Maryland. He was there but thats about it

He was born in NY but raised in Baltimore. He moved to Bmore around 2 or 3. Melo is as much a New Yorker as 2-PAC was. He was also born in NY. Harlem to be exact.

Where are you from? What are you even talking about.. he played at Oak Hill, that doesn't mean he moved to Virginia. His family was in Baltimore, he came back home to Baltimore, played in Five Star camps etc in Baltimore.. he has 'West Baltimore' tatted on him, has a bunch of charity programs and foundations in the city. He's repped Bmore all his life, he just started saying "New York" to the NY media as of late

Drew Gooden playing out of his mind. Happy for cuz. I remember him rocking the Silver/Black/Blue VC1 for Kansas back in the day.
