not when it matters. Watch that 4th quarter again

He's the 2nd best player on the team, as well as being "the point guard." That kind of negates the traditional point of view in which he's supposed to create for others "when it counts." If the best player is being taken out of the play, and the team needs a hoop, is he not supposed to try and get some points on the board for them? Or should he try and make plays for Perkins, Stefolosha, Butler, and Fisher

you're right. KD and Westbrook should score 100% of their teams points every night........  That is totally how basketball is played.

You keep calling other peoples arguments "lazy" when your "Westbrook is the 2nd best player on the team" argument is one of the laziest i've seen

I didn't say all that  but anyway,

answer the question posed, who's Westbrook supposed to make plays for when Durant is being taken out of the play in the fourth quarter? Who do You think he should leave the game in the hands of?

Demar's defense has been so poor, I don't think you can finish with him.

You may have to go with....shudderr

Landry Feilds.

In all seriousness Westbrook is more interested in making big 4 and doing his blow the steam off his pistols celebration then trying to get role players open shots. He does sometimes what player doesn't but he should be trying a lot more.

you're being ridiculous. Acting as if every player on the Thunder is not an NBA player, capable of making a basket.

He can set up Serge for dunks or open jumpers, find Butler/Sefolosha/Fisher for open 3s, etc.

I find it real hard to believe nobody in the whole school decided to gaffle sissy *** chris or cliff for they fritos money. Especially that Lil punk *** Chris

And Caron Butler and Derek Fisher.

What's wrong with caron? And Fisher? There both shooters. Drive and draw attention and get those guys open shots

He does, look at those guys % assisted offense. They missed last night, 3 of 9 combined. And most of Westbrook's shots come after the offense fails to materialize and he's left standing there dribbling in one spot waiting for KD to get a better "post up" position at the 3pt line or come off those pin downs. Once that fails and there's 3-4 seconds left, what else can he do but go 1 on 1?

Maybe Ibaka could have gotten more shots, but again Memphis is keying in on the Big 3 and nobody else is really able to make much of a play. Thabo's release takes like 7 seconds to get it off. You don't want him trying to do more than hit kickout corner 3s. Perkins has the worst hands in the NBA, teams leave him open on purpose. That lineup plays way too many minutes, then the only other players who played beyond the aforementioned dinosaurs were Reggie Jackson (0 for 5) and Nick Collison (1 for 2)

Ibaka scores like >70% assisted fgs, almost all of his baskets are created by Westbrook and KD, usually those mid range jumpers off pocket passes (he pops not rolls)
