replace bums like perkins and sefolosha with players who can actually do something on offense, and the thunder would be favorites to win a ring every year. westbrook is smart to just chuck up shots than pass the ball to players who don't want to do anything.

people dont understand that you need someone like russell at PG , he KEEPS the pressure on the defense , all that "slow down" stuff is NOT his game , nobody asks roy hibbert to start shooting 3's , players all have their "roles" and the ones that can do more are luxuries ........its not russ' or KD's fault that the rest of the team blows ( except for reggie jackson )...........theyll never win a championship with sefolosha being anything more than a role player lol i think hes starting isnt he ? where they do that at.....

What about all the times Westbrook gets KD the ball in late game situations and he gives it right back up. On some beta fish attitude?
We've already mentioned how KD is still lacking at getting in good position to seal his man on the block or out top. That's on him and Brooks which is why lately the only way he can even get free of TA is multiple screens coming to the top of the key and being 25 ft away trying to make his move. It's simple to say get him the ball, but ignoring all that it takes to do that properly without risking turnovers is paramount as well. Maybe if he develops how to deal his man ala Kobe and lately Bron on the block, Russ won't be forced to take all those hero shots causer KD can't get free.
I'm sure OKC would be better with Rondo's non scoring, non explosive self or John wall not being near the defender Russ is on the defensive end.
Especially when Brooks is playing 3/5 guys who can't score or create their own shots out there the majority of the time.
